Jiaodong Militia Hero Yu Huohu

In the autumn of 1941, Zhaoyuan County Military Committee sent a big thunder, weighing 25kg, with the words "live thunder and tiger" written on it. Yu Hua Hu buried it in a pile of stones on the side of the Mo Shi B road. Half an hour later, more than 300 Japanese and puppet troops passed by and stepped on the big thunder. Immediately 11 enemies were killed in Huangquan. From then on, the fame of "live thunder and tiger. During the War of Resistance against Japan, Yu Huahu, after repeated experiments, created all kinds of land mines, which made the enemy tremble and did not dare to act rashly. On July 1, 1943, Jiaodong Military Region held a British Model Conference in Haiyang Zhu Wuxi River. As soon as the conference was over, Commander Xu Shiyou walked down the platform and saw Yu Jinsheng with a punch in the chest: "Good you blasting hero! It is said that a thunder eats two and a half enemies, and his appetite is not small! "Yu Jinsheng hey hey smile. Commander Xu went on to say, "A dragon (Lin Hualong) is coming out of the Bohai Sea, and a tiger is coming out of the East China Sea. You might as well call it Yu Hua Tiger! "From then on, Yu Jinsheng changed his name to Yu Huahu.
In order to deal with the land mines of the tiger, the Japanese army organized a mine exploration team, found one, cleared one, and made the enemy dance with joy. A few days later, the Japanese army poked out a jar of excrement and urine, shouting "bad luck", and stepped forward to kick, causing a series of thunder set by Yu Huhu, and 17 Japanese troops were killed. The Japanese army constantly changed its methods of demining, and Yu Hughu made mines and buried mines according to the circumstances. In this way, the true and false, the false and the false, and the enemy was exhausted. The Japanese army did not believe that Yu Huhu could make regular mines and suspected that he had invited mine experts. After an open and unannounced visit, nothing was found, and in exasperation, a reward was offered everywhere to catch the tiger. You catch you, I hit me, Yu Huhu led the militia to frequently launch mine warfare.
On one occasion, the Japanese army made another move. The exploration team drew circles with lime powder in the places where there were suspected mines, and wrote the word "Thunder Field" in the places where there were suspected mines. Only one circle on the left, one circle on the right, and sometimes the circles were connected. When the Japanese army passed by, in order to avoid the circle, they had to stare wide-eyed, stretch their necks long, and raise their legs and feet high, and walk around. Seeing this scene, Yu Hughu thought of another method. He drew another circle outside the circle where the Japanese army drew the circle, and planted mines between the circles. The Japanese army was sent to the sky again unconsciously while swaying from east to west.
In the spring of 1945, the Japanese troops stationed in Qingdao carried out a frenzied "sweep" of the Penzi mountain area in the Hailai border area ". One morning, Sun Yanzhu, a village woman who had just gave birth to a child, heard the cry of "devils coming" and supported her weak body to follow the villagers to the mountain area, leaving her child at home in a hurry. When Yu Huhu learned of this, he immediately organized a militia to rescue him. In the middle of the night, he went deep into the tiger's den, coaxed the sleeping baby out of the enemy's hands, and returned to the assembly area victoriously with several puppet troops.
On May 18, 1945, the militia in Zhaotuan Village, Haiyang County learned that more than 400 Japanese and puppet troops were coming to invade. Zhao Shoufu and Yu Hughu, the two landmine blasting kings, immediately assembled the militia to prepare for emergency combat and set up two Thunder formation. At noon, the enemy entered the minefield and more than 10 people were killed. They did not dare to enter the village, so they secretly climbed to the basin mountain, repaired fortifications and built bunkers. In the evening, Yu huahu led the militia up the mountain, setting up tripping mines among vegetation, rubble and enemy tools, and planting a 15-6kg earth mine in the enemy's repair tool shed. The next day, the enemy was hit by a mine and exploded, causing heavy casualties. From then on, he never dared to go to the mountain area.
In September 1950, Yu Hughu, as a militia representative, attended the National Conference of Combat Heroes held in Beijing and was named "National Militia Hero".
