Laboratory Construction and Inspection/Testing
To enhance the level of innovation, the institute has invested in more than 3,000 square meters of professional laboratories, covering fields such as mechanical manufacturing, inspection and testing, optical testing, biological cultivation, etc. The institute provides large-scale equipment including vertical machining center, field emission scanning electron microscope, selective laser melting metal printing equipment, multifunctional friction and wear testing machine, laser polishing quenching cladding integrated machine, 3D stereo display system, etc. The total investment in scientific research equipment exceeds 30 million yuan.
In the field of lubrication and friction, the institute has focused on building a public technical platform that integrates inspection and testing with specialized evaluation services. The relevant laboratories have obtained the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) and the inspection and testing institution qualification (CMA) certifications in 2018 and 2021, respectively.
