Established on August 18, 2015, Qingyan Huayu Intelligent Robot (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. (herein after referred to as “the Company) is a supporting company for industrialization incubated by Research Center for Robot and Automation Equipment of Tianjin Institute for Advanced Equipment, Tsinghua University, (hereinafter referred to as the “the Center").At present, there are more than 30 staff in the Center and the Company, including two professors and researchers, four senior engineers，four doctors of engineering, and more than 20 masters.
The Company and the Center are the transfer and industrial incubation base of scientific achievements and technologies of intelligent robot and automation equipment for Professor Chen Ken and his team, which are located in Tianjin Institute for Advanced Equipment and managed jointly. Oriented by the market demands in intelligent robot technologies and automation equipment, the Center and the Company have been engaging in transfer of achievements, development and industrialization of engineering technologies, so as to promote the integration of industry, education and research and development of China’s advanced robots and automation equipment. Their long-term objective in the coming five years is to be developed as an innovative high-tech R & D center and leading enterprise in the field which will integrate development, design, production and sales as a whole.
So far the Company, jointly with the Center,has applied a project, Research on Key Technologies and Application of System Integration for Automatic Painting of Whole Body of Large aircraft, and got approved to be listed in Tianjin S & T Support Program. Moreover,the Company has signed cooperation agreements and related contracts for technology development with Tianjin Institute for Advanced Equipment , and a cooperation agreement on technological development with Hanzhong Liaoyuan Aerospace Electrical Engineering Co.. The service robots in R & D process are scheduled to be put on the market this year.
