"Taking the competition as a link and borrowing Tsinghua resources to help the sky open up all things" 2023 Asia-Pacific Robot World Cup Tianjin International Invitational Tournament Successfully Concluded


On May 21, the 2023 Asia-Pacific Robot World Cup Tianjin International Invitational Tournament ended successfully at the National Convention and Exhibition Center. Over the past two days, 266 teams from 10 countries and regions around the world have competed fiercely, showing technological contests, innovative competitions, and collisions of ideas on the stage of the World Intelligence Conference. It is understood that in addition to the specially invited China competition, all participating teams competed for a total of 27 award-winning projects, winning 36 championship awards, 23 runner-up awards and 22 third runner-up awards.


Zhou Shengxi, deputy director of the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, and other relevant leaders attended the closing ceremony, and Dai Yanmin, deputy director of the Jinnan District Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, presided over the closing ceremony. With the play of the review video during the competition, the contestants, team leaders, referees, etc. relived the pictures of several days of Tianjin. Zhou Zhaoda, Director of International Affairs of Tsinghua University's Mechanical Science and Technology Innovation Practice Base, Tianjin High-end Equipment Research Institute, Tsinghua University, announced the list of winners of the first and second place in each competition. The champion of the RoboCup soccer robot humanoid group was defended by the strong ZJUDancer team of Zhejiang University. The champion of the medium-sized group was defended by the Water team of Beijing University of Information Science and Technology. The standard platform group with the strongest ornamental value was won by the IFI team of Beijing University of Science and Technology. The RCAP CoSpace intelligent search and rescue university group champion was won by the Robo-Erectus-RSC team of Singapore Institute of Technology, and the RCAP CoSpace intelligent distribution university group champion was won by the Smart_Dst0ryer team of Tianjin Institute; the primary, junior and senior high school champions of the UAV rotor individual flight race were won by Li Yanzhen, Zang Yihan and Yin Shuo respectively, while the champions of the rotor bee swarm dance programming race were won by Wang Zihan and Qiao Han.

As an important part of the Asia-Pacific Robot World Cup, the Asia-Pacific Robot World Cup Tianjin Tournament has been successfully held in Tianjin for three times. The high impact of the competition is praised. "The event is characterized by a wide range of events, a strong level of competition and a high degree of internationalization. The six major events contain 12 sub-events, and the new RCAP CoSpace Intelligent Distribution Challenge simulates intelligent distribution solutions in the virtual world, which is an effective combination and application of real-world intelligent distribution solutions." Changjiu Zhou said. "The venue was also well set up to give people a visually and psychologically comfortable state, and the volunteer service was good and all aspects were quite satisfactory. We were very happy with our match against the Japanese team, giving them full respect, introducing them to the process and making them play smoothly."
