The 2022 Asia-Pacific Robot World Cup Tianjin International Invitational, hosted by the Tianjin High-end equipment Research Institute of Tsinghua University, is a permanent event of the World Intelligence Congress. With the arrival of the sixth World Intelligence Congress, the Asia-Pacific Tianjin International Invitational Competition officially kicked off on June 11. This competition is held in the mode of "connecting the world online", with "innovation, breakthrough and integration" as the core, and two competitions are set up, of which RCAP is CoSpace a traditional event, and young people from 11 countries compete for hegemony in the cloud, showing their international style; the new enterprise challenge, "integration of production and education, coordinated development", 335 teams from more than 120 colleges and universities across the country will compete for four days, it's brilliant.

The RCAP CoSpace event is the permanent event of the Asia-Pacific World Cup Tianjin Tournament. The ad hoc RCAP CoSpace intelligent driving and RCAP CoSpace intelligent search and rescue are two sub-events. This year, a total of 291 people from 137 teams from 11 countries including China, Singapore, Japan, the United States, Germany, and Egypt participated in the competition. The event began to warm up online in April this year. After the warm-up and preliminaries, players from various countries gathered on the platform of the Asia-Pacific Tianjin International Invitational for fierce competition. Teachers and students from many domestic and foreign universities, such as Tokyo University, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Institute of Technology, Tianjin University of Technology, Dalian Jiaotong University, Alexandria University of Engineering and Technology in Egypt, compete on the same stage to enjoy the fun of coding problem solving and feel the charm of robots and AI changing the world. RCAP CoSpace intelligent search and rescue competition is known as the Youth AI Algorithm Olympics. The whole competition takes the most classic search problem in artificial intelligence as the main line, develops students' computational thinking, improves their independent innovation ability in international competitions, and feels the infinite charm of cutting-edge competition.

The Enterprise Challenge is a new competition for this year, which deeply combines the needs of enterprises and the practical application of intelligent equipment by young people, and promotes the in-depth cooperation between schools and enterprises and the integration of production and education. This enterprise challenge has two sub-events: industrial robot system integration and intelligent service robot application. A total of 38 competitions were held during the competition. In order to overcome the difficulty that the contestants cannot go to the competition site, the competition organizing committee provided a total of 22 sets of competition platforms for the contestants to remotely control the robots to compete.

The industrial robot system integration competition platform adopts modular design and is equipped with up to 16 functional modules, which can meet the application of typical scenes such as industrial robot assembly, trajectory, handling, palletizing, sorting, etc. It focuses on the production line planning and design, application programming, virtual debugging, PLC, sensors, bus communication, digital twin and other industrial robot system integration technology capabilities of the competitors. The application competition of intelligent service robot adopts ROS mobile chassis and 3D visual grasping modular design, taking the service robot that completes unmanned retail or unmanned storage as the scene of autonomous picking and placing of goods and materials, and mainly investigates the programming and debugging, data processing and innovative application capabilities of player SLAM map construction, autonomous navigation, image recognition, automatic grasping, etc.
