Ruijin: The Spirit of the Soviet Area from Generation to Generation

Hongdu Ruijin to the east, the little-known village Yeping, 90 years ago, witnessed a major event that changed China and the world.
In November 1931, the Provisional Central Government of the Chinese Soviet Republic was established in this small village.
Ninety years later, when we strolled through Yeping, the ancient trees of Cangqiu, together with the sky and the earth, we were speechless about this red history.
In January 1929, Mao Zedong, Zhu De and other comrades led the main force of the Fourth Red Army from Jinggangshan to southwest Jiangxi, opened up base areas in southern Jiangxi and western Fujian, and formed the first front army of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army. From the autumn of 1930 to the autumn of 1931, three "encirclement and suppression" campaigns of the Kuomintang army were smashed, and the base areas in southern Jiangxi and western Fujian were connected, forming a central revolutionary base area. After the Central Red Army won the fourth victory against "encirclement and suppression" in 1933, the Central Revolutionary Base expanded to a vast area spanning Jiangxi, Fujian, and Guangdong provinces, and established several provincial and a large number of county-level Soviet regimes. The Red Army grew to more than 120000. The number of party members reached more than 130000.
Here, the Communists set up nine ministries and one bureau for foreign affairs, military affairs and finance; here, the Communists promulgated their first constitutional outline and formulated hundreds of laws and decrees such as election regulations and labor laws; here, the Communists carried out political power construction, economic construction and cultural construction, issued currency, set up schools and punished corruption ...... Walking into the former site of "One Su Da" in Yeping, people have lamented in front of the "miniature version" of the organ.
In the revolutionary practice of the Central Soviet Area centered on Ruijin, the Communists nurtured and formed a great Soviet spirit and a good style of Soviet cadres, which became an important part of our party's red spiritual pedigree. Comrade Xi Jinping once pointed out: "In the creation and development of the revolutionary base areas, in the practice of establishing the red regime and exploring the revolutionary road, countless revolutionary ancestors used their blood and lives to forge a firm belief, truth-seeking and pragmatic, dedicated to the people, and honest and clean., Hard work, striving for first-class, selfless dedication, etc. are the main connotations of the Soviet spirit."
"The people in the Soviet area support the revolution, and the cadres in the Soviet area also care about the people affectionately. It is this feeling of fish and water that allows the people in the old area to dedicate everything they have to the party." Huang Lufen, a commentator in Yeping scenic spot, moved others and himself with his own explanation: during the red expansion movement, touching scenes of mothers sending their children and wives sending their langs appeared everywhere in Gannan Soviet area. At that time, Yang Rongxian, an old man from Shazhouba in Ruijin, sent eight sons to the front line in the war against "encirclement and suppression" and all died in battle. Ruijin, with a population of about 240000, had a total of 113000 people participating in the army and more than 50000 people died for the revolution, 10800 of whom died during the Red Army's Long March.
Ruijin has now become a classic scenic spot for red tourism, with a total of 7.347 million visitors from 2017 to the end of 2020. In July 2018, under the cordial care of the Party Central Committee, Ruijin, the old district, officially got rid of poverty. Since 2015, Ruijin City has reduced poverty by a total of 76935 people. Starting again on the new Long March, the people in the old district will follow the party with one heart and one mind. Towards a new victory.
