The First Heart in Zhou Enlai's Poems
At the symposium to commemorate the 120 anniversary of the birth of Comrade Zhou Enlai, General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that "Comrade Zhou Enlai is an outstanding model of not forgetting his original aspirations and sticking to his faith". Zhou Enlai's dedication and selfless dedication to the people will always be remembered by the Chinese people. In Zhou Enlai's life, in addition to leading the revolution and construction work, he also wrote some poems. Although there are not many poems, less than 20 poems, the meaning and realm contained in them are very deep and broad. Revisiting his poems, we can gain insight into the patriotism and unremitting spirit of struggle contained in them, and more deeply realize Zhou Enlai's great personality, which inspires us not to forget our original aspirations and continue to move forward.
Strong feelings of home and country
Before the May Fourth Movement, Zhou Enlai began his poetry creation. His poems express his feelings directly, and his words are soaked in his ambition to serve the country and his sincerity.
Zhou Enlai was born in an era when China was facing the invasion and division of imperialist powers, the Qing government humiliated the country, and the national crisis was deep. Since he was a child, he has a strong ambition to serve the country, actively explore and seek the way to save the country and the people, and has a unique performance in ideological and social activities. From 1910 to 1913, Zhou Enlai studied in Northeast China for 3 years, and successively studied in Yinzhou Yinguang College of Fengtian Province and Dongguan Model Primary School of Fengtian Province. During this period, he once simulated Lu You's "Shier" and wrote a poem of seven unique poems: "The war ransacked ten thousand rooms, and our peers competed to see Kyushu. The Chinese teachers swept the powers day, and the good news flew to Ao' ao Weng." This poem expresses his fervent hope for national independence and prosperity. Ao Weng in the poem is Zhou Enlai's very good classmate He Luzhen's grandfather He Dianjia, Mr. He Lao's word Ao Feng, and he is a knowledgeable and patriotic private school gentleman. Zhou Enlai went to He's family as a guest. Mr. He liked Zhou Enlai very much, who was ambitious and talented. He often took Zhou Enlai and several young people from He's family to the former site of the Russo-Japanese War near the village to "talk about the ancient". The tragedy of the country's dilapidation deeply inspired Zhou Enlai's patriotism.
Zhou Enlai set the lofty ambition of "studying for the rise of China" very early. He once wrote: "We were born in the competitive era of the 20th century, in a weak and sluggish China, and in a critical time when we were overwhelmed by foreign insults, we sat back and did not save at all... The rise and fall of the world is the responsibility of every man!" What he pursues is not personal wealth or fame, but a vision of the world and a vision of the world. This broad-mindedness and open pattern paved the way for his career as a politician. Feelings of the political situation of the country where the warlords are fighting, turmoil, and the people are in dire straits, he used poems to express his concern for the country and the people. In the two poems of "Spring Day Occasion", he wrote like this: The smoke is thick in the suburbs of extreme vision. The Central Plains are chasing deer, and the waves are chasing. Cherry blossoms are red, willow leaves are green by the pool. Swallow voice, Acacia for another year.
During his study in Nankai School, he and Zhang Pengxian and other students initiated and organized a professional music group meeting, inviting well-known people from outside the school to have a discussion. For example, Wu Yuzhang and Huang Yanpei all accepted the invitation of the professional music group meeting to give a speech and have a discussion with students in Nankai School. These activities not only broaden the students' horizons and help them enhance their interest in learning, but also stimulate their revolutionary enthusiasm to devote themselves to saving the country. In 1916, Zhou Enlai bid farewell to his good friend Zhang Pengxian and wrote three poems entitled "Feelings of Sending Brother Pengxian Back to China. It is written in the poem: "Meeting by chance is also the front edge, it is not accidental to be responsible for the gate of Jinmen. The lice talk shocked the four, holding the claw and talking about the year. The dangerous barbarians should taste the courage, and the moral struggle dare to rest their shoulders. After the full day of returning to the farmer's work, he predicted the next year to buy money." This poem reflects Zhou Enlai's view of choosing friends. The first sentence indicates that he thinks that the meeting of friends is not accidental, but to come together for the sake of common ideals and choose common responsibilities. In the Eastern Jin Dynasty, Wang Meng, a famous statesman and military strategist, used the allusion of "talking about the lice" as a metaphor for himself and his friends to talk about the world without fear. "The east wind urges the visitors, and the Nanpu sings the elitist song. In a blink of an eye, people are thousands of miles away, and the soul is a dream. The stars are separated into hate things, and the clouds are scattered and worried. I am delighted with the shadow of the past, and there are many karma words." This poem expresses the feeling of farewell to Zhang Pengxian, who went to Japan to study. "Peer fight scurry away, you alone first whip. For marriage pity nong clumsy, rapids let erxian. Crows love the late tree, solitary goose into the sky. Only the old, the face of disagreement." This poem expresses the identity of Zhang Pengxian's pursuit of truth. These three poems show that his friendship with his friends is not to accumulate contacts in order to become an official and make money in the future, nor to indulge in food and enjoy the comfort of life, but to serve the motherland and strive together.
The spirit of unremitting struggle
The goal of life can sharpen a strong mind and temper a strong will. Zhou Enlai went to Japan and France to study and inspect, eagerly exploring all kinds of new knowledge and new ideas, and finally chose Marxism and communist beliefs, which inspired the consciousness of action to transform the society, bravely shouldered the mission, dedicated himself, and wrote on his life test paper. A wonderful and satisfactory answer. In the face of the various circumstances of the road of life, Zhou Enlai never gave up his pursuit of truth. From the poems of Zhou Enlai in his early years, we can see his unremitting pursuit.
Zhou Enlai once wrote a poem of the Five Rhyme, which he chanted together with his classmate Wang Pushan when he was studying in Nankai School: "Cherish the green temples in the Chinese year, and roar the green front at midnight. The ambition of learning is weak, and the blood is strong when watching. Without success, it is ashamed to draw a tiger, waiting to love the hidden dragon. Where is the poem flying? Yunshan weighs tens of thousands." Wang Pushan also studied in Japan. The two sympathized with each other and practiced martial arts and joint sentences together. They were deeply attached to each other and talked about everything. "Learning Tao" refers to the study of knowledge, and "viewing time" refers to the study of the general trend of the world and various social thoughts. The comparison between the two shows Zhou Enlai's research interest and struggle direction at that time. This poem expresses Zhou Enlai's sincere heart and enthusiasm for serving the country.
In September, 1917, Zhou Enlai went east to Fusang to study. Before he set out, he wrote a poem "The Song of the Great River, Turn East", "The Song of the Great River, Turn East, and the rich and the poor will help the poor. After ten years of facing the wall, it is difficult to be rewarded for crossing the sea and being a hero." This poem is passionate and bold and vigorous, reflecting his lofty ambition and great feelings of serving the country sincerely. While studying in Japan, he read a large number of books on the basic principles of socialism and Marxism. He wrote in his diary: if you want to think more new ideas than now, do the latest things now, and learn the latest knowledge from now. Thinking should be free, doing things should be real, and learning should be real. During his stay in Japan, he further strengthened his determination to pursue truth with practical actions and explore the road to national salvation.
Courage to take on the spirit of sacrifice
The revolutionary road was not smooth sailing, and the revolutionary cause was not accomplished overnight. Zhou Enlai had full expectations of the sacrifices and sacrifices needed to save the nation and the difficulties and obstacles of transforming society. In the life choice of being an official and revolutionary road, he resolutely made the decision to devote himself to the revolution, which embodies his spirit of sacrifice.
Huang Ai, an early leader of the workers' movement, forged a deep friendship with Zhou Enlai when he was working in the Tianjin Federation of Students. In 1922, Hunan workers went on strike. Huang Ai was the leader of the labor union and was arrested and killed by the enemy. Huang Ai's sacrifice caused a sensation throughout the country, with rallies and demonstrations everywhere to protest the atrocities. Zhou Enlai, who was studying in Germany, was very sad when he learned of the bad news. He wrote the poem "Farewell to Life and Death". While mourning the martyr Huang Ai, this poem also expounds his spirit of responsibility for the revolution.
"The heroic death, survival and life. Fear of death, how heavy death suicide! The most embarrassing thing is to leave life and death. Farewell, worry about it, death is insignificant, so what a touching farewell! No cultivation, where to harvest? Not sowing the seeds of revolution, but looking forward to the communist flowers! Dream of red flag flying, but do not use blood to dye him, how can there be such a cheap thing in the world? Sit and talk, how to get up line! Greedy people, also sad parting, also with death, but they can't understand this touching farewell, forever touching. Don't hope for others! The road of life and death has been placed in front of everyone, flying to the light, let it be up to you! Raise the hoe of black iron, open up the uncultivated land, sow the seeds on the earth, and drop the blood on the ground. This is a parting, and it will be a farewell forever in the future! Life and death are thoroughly understood, hard to live, but also hard to die, then goodbye, what is it?"
In this modern poem, Zhou Enlai believes that the ideal is beautiful and needs to be fought for and sacrificed for it. Without the burning of each individual's life, the realization of the ideal will not be exchanged, and without the bloodshed of each individual Sacrifice will not be exchanged for the independence and self-improvement of the nation. Martyr Huang Ai sacrificed for the revolution, was a heroic martyr, and an immortal pioneer; the path of life is diverse, choosing to live for the light and die for the revolution, even if it is a farewell, it also lives in the hearts of the people. This poem also expresses Zhou Enlai's oath in his heart, which has become his unchanging original intention to devote his whole life to the cause of the party and the people.
