The Innovation and Investment and Financing Department of our hospital led a team to FAW Group for research and exchange.
On October 23, at the invitation of China First Automobile Group Co., Ltd. (FAW Group), the Innovation, Investment and Financing Department of Tsinghua University Tianjin High-end Equipment Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as "High-end Institute") organized Li Zhenbang, Deputy General Manager of New Qingyan Investment Management Co., Ltd., Liu Dameng, Director of Composite Manufacturing and Intelligent Identification Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as "Composite Manufacturing Institute"), and Liu Li, Deputy Director of Additive Manufacturing Technology and Engineering Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as "Additive Materials Institute"), to Changchun FAW Production Base for investigation and exchange. Gao Pu, Vice Minister of Engineering and Production Logistics Department of FAW, Zhang Xiaosheng, Assistant Minister, Zhang Zhuxin, Director, and more than 30 technicians in related fields from various branches of FAW participated in the event.

At the morning exchange meeting, Gao Pu expressed a sincere welcome to all the teachers and gave a brief introduction to the current production situation of FAW. Li Zhenbang first thanked the leaders of FAW for their organization and arrangement. He believed that this activity had created a good start for the two sides to realize technical cooperation in the future, and introduced the relevant situation and research fields of the high-end institute from the overall level. Later, Liu Dameng introduced the composite manufacturing institute to the participants, and focused on the three major technical directions of composite spectrum perception and online quality inspection, equipment data mining and machine learning, wear-resistant surface technology and high-reliability operation guarantee, as well as the development of intelligent and high-reliability special manufacturing and testing equipment. Liu Li gave a systematic introduction to the situation of the Additive Institute, conducted extensive exchanges on the changes of 3D printing to traditional industries and participants, and shared solutions for industrial-grade electron beam metal 3D printing and "equipment process application. At the end of the exchange meeting, the technicians from FAW-Volkswagen, Jiefang, Pentium and other production lines, as well as mold manufacturing and R & D institutes, made detailed inquiries and understanding of the above technologies in combination with the production situation in their respective fields.
In the afternoon, the relevant person in charge of the high-end institute visited the FAW Hongqi assembly line and had a more in-depth discussion with FAW technical experts on how to realize the replacement and upgrading of production technology.
