Issuing the Newly Revised Regulations on the Handling of Official Document in Military Organs


Xi Jinping, Chairman of the Central Military Commission, signed an order a few days ago to issue the newly revised Regulations on the Handling of Official Document by Military Organs, which will come into force on October 1, 2017.


The "Regulations on the Handling of Official Document by Military Organs" is an important military regulation and is the basic basis for guiding the handling of official documents by military organs at all levels. The revision and improvement of the current regulations is an important measure to achieve the party's goal of strengthening the army under the new situation, implement the policy of governing the army according to law and strictly, and strengthen the regularization of the army.


The Regulations have 8 chapters and 40 articles, which make new provisions on the principles, types and formats of official documents, writing rules, handling procedures and management requirements of military organs, and absorb the research results and fresh experience of the military and party and government organs in handling official documents, reflecting the development requirements of the military organs in handling official documents with the times under the new system, and make the work of handling official documents of military organs more scientific, instructive, and applicable.


The promulgation and implementation of the regulations is conducive to improving the quality and efficiency of the official document processing work of military organs, promoting the further scientization, institutionalization and standardization of the official document processing work of military organs, and playing an important role in ensuring the implementation of the decision-making instructions of the Party Central Committee and the Central Military Commission, ensuring that organs at all levels effectively perform their functions and better serve the army building and military struggle preparation.
