Qing Yanzhi Beam Exhibits Asian TCT, Electron Beam Metal 3D Printing Technology Pairs Attention
On March 8-10, 2017, the 3-day 2017 Asian 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing Exhibition (TCT) was held in Shanghai. Tianjin Qingyan Zhibeam Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Qingyan Zhibeam"), a leading enterprise of electron beam metal 3D printing and an incubator of the Institute of Additive Manufacturing Technology and Engineering of our institute, participated in the exhibition. At the meeting, the relevant person in charge of the company had extensive communication with domestic and foreign counterparts and the audience, and introduced the company's newly developed electron beam powder spreading metal 3D printer QbeamLab, which attracted the attention of the participants.
At this exhibition, the company signed a three-dimensional data processing software Magics binding contract with Belgian Materialise Software Company on the spot, and discussed the in-depth cooperation in the future industrial application field; it has conducted in-depth communication with Danfoss (China) Company, one of the world's top 500 industries, on the lightweight design and printing of scroll parts used in scroll compressors; communicate with foreign agents from Canada, Russia, Iran, India and other countries related technical and business information.
TCT is the largest and most influential exhibition in the additive manufacturing industry in Asia. Almost all well-known foreign 3D printing enterprise brands and domestic excellent 3D printing national brands are present at the exhibition. Most of the metal 3D printing equipment participating in the meeting uses laser as the heat source, while the brands of metal 3D printing equipment using electron beam as the heat source are only Qingyan Zhibeam and Swedish Arcam Company.
Electron beam metal 3D printing has the characteristics of high electron beam power, strong penetration ability, low thermal stress in the forming process, high printing efficiency, and vacuum environmental protection. Qingyan Zhibeam is the first team in China to carry out research on electron beam powder spreading 3D printing technology and to realize independent research and development of commercial equipment.
