"Dongli Travel, an International Student from Tsinghua Mechanical Department" Enters Tianjin High-end Equipment Research Institute of Tsinghua University

In order to further promote international exchanges and talent cooperation, on September 22, with the strong support of the Tsinghua University High-end Equipment Research Institute ("High-end Institute") and the Dongli District Talent Office, the "Tsinghua Mechanical Department International Student Dongli Travel" event was successfully held.

More than 20 international students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Tsinghua University from Germany, Iran, France and other countries went to Tianjin Dongli District for field visits. First, they went to the Tianjin High-end Equipment Research Institute of Tsinghua University for exchange and study. During the visit, I had an in-depth understanding of the development and construction of our institute, the collaborative innovation model, and the transformation of scientific research results. Subsequently, the international students went to the machine tool museum located on the first floor of the 5th building of the high-end hospital to visit and learn about the development history of machine tools. After the successful visit in the morning, the overseas students and their party dined in the staff restaurant on the second floor of the high-end hospital. In the afternoon, I went to Dongli District for research and study.

The activity of "Tsinghua Mechanical Students' Dongli trip" has been hosted many times, and mechanical students have visited our hospital many times, all of which have achieved good results. The high-end institute is a professional expatriate research institute established by the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Tsinghua University. It currently has 290 employees, and as many as 80 people have been introduced from Tsinghua University. The proportion of personnel with a master's degree or above reaches 85%. The establishment of the high-end hospital has built a good platform for the construction of local talents and played a role in promoting the introduction of high-end talents in the city.

It is one of the earliest engineering departments in Tsinghua University and one of the oldest engineering departments in China. After more than 80 years of development, the mechanical engineering discipline of Tsinghua University enjoys a high reputation in the world, and has been ranked among the top 20 in the world in the mechanical discipline of QS World University Rankings for many years.
