On the morning of May 26, the Committee of China Democratic Construction Tsinghua University went to Tsinghua University Tianjin High-end Equipment Research Institute (referred to as "Tsinghua High-end Institute") for research. Under the background of the national Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integrated and coordinated development strategy, Tsinghua High-end Institute is a Tsinghua University expatriate professional research institute jointly constructed by the Dongli District Government of Tianjin and Tsinghua University in order to give full play to the advantages of science and technology and talents of Tsinghua University, as well as the industrial and location advantages of Tianjin. Professor Pei Pucheng, chairman of the Tsinghua University Committee of the China Democratic National Construction Association, Professor Xie Xiaofeng, deputy chairman, and some members of the Palace Museum Branch and the Second Branch of the Dongcheng Section of the China Democratic National Construction Association participated in the survey.

The 7 major technical directions of the high-end institute cover the 10 major areas promoted by the national strategy of "Made in China 2025". It will be guided by the strategic policy of innovation-driven, quality first, green development, structural optimization, and talent-oriented. Members visited the exhibition hall of scientific research achievements, learned in detail the latest innovative achievements in the fields of robot and automation equipment technology, additive manufacturing (3D printing) and laser processing technology, green energy saving and consumption reduction technology, integrated circuit manufacturing equipment, etc., and personally experienced subway driving simulation training.

At present, Professor Suo Shuangfu, chairman of the second branch of Tsinghua University, works in the Institute of Intelligence and Biomechanics of Tsinghua High-end Institute.
