The robot on display in this industrial automation is designed for nondestructive flaw detection of large spherical tank welds. The robot adopts the patented technology of "gap permanent magnet adsorption" and is equipped with the independently developed TOFD flaw detection system. Its crawling performance is greatly improved compared with the traditional magnetic wheel wall climbing robot, and the detection performance of the flaw detection system can also be comparable to that of foreign famous brands. The successful development of this type of robot is the first in China. Its appearance marks that petrochemical enterprises and testing companies are about to bid farewell to the heavy and dangerous manual flaw detection method.
