Our hospital participated in the signing ceremony of Xinhua News Agency's joint research and development of China's desertification control index.
On September 26, 2017, the China Economic Information Service (an enterprise directly under Xinhua News Agency) and six R & D institutions held a joint R & D signing ceremony for the China Desertification Control Index in Beijing. Li Maolin, Executive Deputy Director of the Institute of Sand Industry Engineering Equipment, Tianjin High-end Equipment Research Institute, Tsinghua University, participated in the signing ceremony.

The China Economic Information Service adopts the 16 model, in conjunction with the China Sand Control and Sand Industry Society, the Tianjin High-end Equipment Research Institute of Tsinghua University, the Desertification Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Forestry Sciences, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Sand Control Association, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Sand Industry Grass Industry Association and Ordos City Desertification Control and Sand Industry Grass Industry Association jointly developed the China Desertification Control Index.
According to the signed research and development agreement, several institutions will give full play to their respective resource advantages to collaborate in the research and development of China's desertification control index, and on this basis, establish a desertification control index big data management system.
The opening of this work is an important measure to implement the spirit of the 13th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification held in Ordos, Inner Mongolia this month. It aims to use data standards to improve the modernization of desertification control and contribute to global desertification control. China's wisdom, work together to build a community with a shared future for global environmental governance.
