The 2018 National and Local Joint Engineering Research Center declared by our hospital has been publicized.
On December 26, 2018, the High-tech Industry Department of the National Development and Reform Commission issued the "Announcement of the Proposed List of National and Local Joint Engineering Research Centers in 2018", and the "National and Local Joint Engineering Research Center for Superperformance Surface Manufacturing" declared by our institute was successfully selected.
The national local joint engineering research center is a research and development entity established by enterprises, transformed scientific research institutions, scientific research institutes or universities. The national local joint engineering center is an important measure taken by the national development and Reform Commission to further strengthen the construction of regional industrial innovation basic capacity, accelerate the transformation of economic development mode and structural adjustment, and promote the organic connection with the national scientific and technological innovation system. The National and Local Joint Engineering Research Center is an important part of the national innovation platform. In the 2018 accreditation, a total of 111 institutions were accredited nationwide, of which 4 were selected in Tianjin.
In late June 2018, the Ministry of Scientific Research took the lead in organizing seven research institutes of our institute, including lubrication technology, lubrication and friction testing center, surface engineering, surface interface micro-nano technology, tool-bearing electromagnetic reinforcement technology, composite manufacturing and intelligent identification, and intelligent materials and systems, to jointly compile the application materials. After multi-layer audit, our "super-performance surface manufacturing national and local joint engineering research center" was approved by the national engineering research center, which fully demonstrated our hospital's cutting-edge technology and strong strength in the field of super-performance surface manufacturing. This not only achieves another breakthrough in the national major scientific and technological innovation platform of our institute, but also provides a strong platform support for our institute to further promote the industry-university-research cooperation mechanism and actively participate in and promote the construction of the national intelligent manufacturing industry.
