The research seminar on talent demand in the field of intelligent manufacturing organized by our institute was held in Beijing.
On December 11, 2018, a seminar on the demand for intelligent manufacturing talents organized by the Scientific Research Department of Tianjin High-end equipment Research Institute of Tsinghua University (referred to as "High-end Institute") was held in Beijing. The meeting invited members of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering, Tsinghua University, Tianjin University, Beijing University of Technology, Hefei University of Technology, CRRC Tangshan Company, Nanjing Nangote Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. and other school and enterprise representatives to attend the meeting.
This meeting is to further implement the research task of intelligent manufacturing talents assigned by the intelligent manufacturing professional committee of the China machinery industry outstanding engineer education alliance (hereinafter referred to as "alliance") at the alliance's 2018 council meeting. the task aims to explore the talent demand of industries and enterprises in the field of intelligent manufacturing, provide reference for the professional construction and talent training of colleges and universities, and promote the industry-university-research cooperation and achievement transformation in the field of intelligent manufacturing, realize the "win-win" mode of talent growth and scientific and technological progress.
At the meeting, Wang Kaifeng of Tianjin University first introduced the intelligent manufacturing special committee and the research background. Wang Ling, director of the China Mechanical Engineering Society, introduced the significance of the research on this basis. He hoped to write the intelligent manufacturing talent standard based on the research results and release it at the 2019 Zhuo Gong Council Conference and the 3rd International Engineering Education Conference.

After the research seminar, the relevant person in charge of the high-end institute introduced the research outline. According to their own reality, the participants had active discussions on the research purpose, research content, research method, actual needs of enterprises and how to transform the research results into feasible pilot projects in the later period. At the end of the meeting, Zhang Xiangjun made clear the task assignment and time node for the members of each research group according to the discussion results of the meeting.
The successful convening of this seminar not only provides guidance for the effective promotion of this research work, but also points out the direction for the training of talents needed for the development of intelligent manufacturing industry. In the next step, under the guidance of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering, the high-end institute will cooperate with universities and enterprises to carry out research work, and promote multi-angle, diversified, and multi-level cooperation between schools and enterprises to help the training of talents and technology in the machinery industry development!
