Our college successfully held the 2023 Tsinghua University summer "high-end equipment practice" class closing defense meeting

On August 25, Tsinghua University Tianjin High-end equipment Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as "Tsinghua Tianjin equipment Institute") and CRRC Qingdao Sifang Locomotive and Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Qingdao Sifang") successfully held the 2023 Tsinghua University "High-end equipment Practice" class closing defense meeting in Tianjin. The defense review team invited Sun Ruofei, Deputy Director of the Professional Degree Education Office of the Graduate School of Tsinghua University, Xu Jing, Deputy General Manager of Investment Management of Tongfang Co., Ltd., a teacher from the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Tsinghua University, a project tutor of Tsinghua Tianjin Equipment Institute, and Qingdao Sifang and Lilin Zhigan Technology Co., Ltd. Related subject tutors of related experts served as review experts.
Tsinghua Tianjin Equipment Institute and Qingdao Sifang are the main practice bases of Tsinghua University's "High-end Equipment Practice" course. This year, a total of 11 projects have landed in Tianjin and 3 projects have landed in Qingdao Sifang. Six research institutes, including the Institute of Lubrication Technology, Lubrication and Friction Testing Center and the Institute of Heavy Equipment Technology, are involved.

At the beginning of the meeting, the host Quan Limei gave an opening speech, expounding the growth and harvest of the course "High-end Equipment Practice" to the students. After that, Zhang Xiangjun, deputy dean and course leader of Tsinghua Tianjin Equipment Institute, gave a speech, profoundly expounding the far-reaching significance of the 8-week course, and also used his own personal experience to encourage everyone to try and open their minds.

Next, 17 graduate students were divided into groups to answer the questions in turn. The students focused on the research background, methods, research results and practical gains. The experts of the review team listened carefully and commented on each student's report.

After on-site evaluation by experts, all the students passed the course examination and successfully obtained the practice certificate. This course selected three excellent projects: "Application of Meshless Method in Simulation of Cutting Anti-climbing Device", "Structural Design and Mechanical Analysis of Disc Spring Vibration Isolation Device" and "Design and Preparation of Anticoagulant Coating on the Surface of Polymer Material", and awarded the certificate of excellent project.
