Lin Feng, a long-appointed professor at Tsinghua University, was invited to participate in the 9th Intermetallic Compound Symposium and Advanced High Temperature Structural Materials Development Forum
On August 12, sponsored by the Intermetallic Compounds and Amorphous Alloys Branch of the Chinese Society for Materials Research, the National Key Laboratory of Material Structure Precision Welding and Connection, the National Key Laboratory of Metal Precision Hot Processing of Harbin Institute of Technology, and the State of New Metal Materials of the University of Science and Technology Beijing The 9th Intermetallic Compound Seminar and Advanced High Temperature Structural Materials Development Forum hosted by the Key Laboratory and the State Key Laboratory of Comprehensive Utilization of Vanadium and Titanium Resources of Pansteel were held in Chengdu.

The conference invited well-known domestic experts and scholars in related fields to give special reports, and conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on the latest research results and industry trends in the field of advanced intermetallic compounds and high-temperature structural materials. Lin Feng, a long-appointed professor of Tsinghua University, was invited to participate in the conference And make a special report of the conference.

In the report, Professor Lin Feng introduced the characteristics of electron beam powder bed melting technology and the development of large-size, multi-electron beam electron beam powder bed melting additive manufacturing equipment around high-temperature metal materials. The report also describes the progress that has been made in electron beam additive manufacturing technology for titanium-aluminum alloys, difficult-to-weld high-temperature alloys, tungsten/tungsten copper infiltration, and high-temperature metal materials such as nickel-based single crystals and niobium-silicon alloys.
