China's first overseas ETCS-1-level laboratory landed in Thailand

Recently, China Express's "Asia-Pacific Regional Center Rail Transit Control System Experimental Platform" was successfully completed in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. This is the first ETCS-1-class (European Train Operation Control System) train control laboratory built by a Chinese company overseas. The third train operation control system laboratory built overseas by China Express after Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, and Budapest, the capital of Hungary.
The core equipment of the laboratory adopts the independent products of China General Number, which is a modern comprehensive railway signal system experimental platform integrating computer interlocking system (CBI), centralized dispatching system (CTC), train operation control system (ETCS-1 standard) and outdoor trackside equipment system. After the completion of the laboratory, it will play an important role in product research and development, simulation testing, publicity and exchange, learning and training, relying on the operation platform of the Asia Pacific Regional Center and the double line project in Thailand. The laboratory can not only provide an interlocking system electrical simulation experimental environment for the Thai railway communication signal double-line renovation project, and show the technology, products, solutions and standards of China Communications to customers in Thailand and even the entire Southeast Asian region. It will also be used for owners and Internal staff technical training, while expanding business operations and promoting the diversified development of regional centers, cultivate more excellent market operators for China Communications.
The construction of the Thai laboratory is also an important attempt by China Communications to strengthen school-enterprise cooperation and the integration of production and education. During the construction of the laboratory, Mr. Kosit, President of the Northeast Royal Polytechnic University of Thailand, and his party visited the Bangkok headquarters of the Asia-Pacific Regional Center of China Communications. They visited the laboratory and spoke highly of the construction of the laboratory. The school also sent teachers and students to participate in the construction of the laboratory in Thailand and introduced the products and systems of China Communications to potential local partners as our representatives.
The completion of the Thai laboratory is another successful practice of China Communications in actively responding to the national "Belt and Road Initiative" initiative, deeply ploughing the Thai and Southeast Asian markets, and promoting the "going out" of Chinese railway products, technology, and standards. it is of far-reaching significance to speed up the realization of localization, promote the export of technical standards and industries, and promote the "going out" of China's high-speed rail.
