The second plenary session of the 20th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China was held in Beijing from January 9 to 10, 2023. The plenary session was attended by 127 members of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, 207 of whom attended.
Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, President of the People's Republic of China and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, attended the plenary session and delivered an important speech. First, strengthen political supervision around the implementation of the Party's 20 strategic arrangements. Fifth, comprehensively strengthen the party's discipline construction. Strengthen regular discipline education, integrate into daily management and supervision, promote party members and cadres to enhance their sense of discipline, and engrave the party's discipline rules in their hearts. and attach great importance to discipline education for young leading cadres. Supervise and guide the party committees (party groups) of relevant units that have major violations of discipline and law to hold special democratic life meetings, draw inferences from one another, and clarify discipline with cases. Accurately use the "four forms", implement the "three distinctions", encourage cadres to dare to take responsibility and act actively, and achieve the organic unity of political, disciplinary, and social effects.
Sixth, resolutely win the battle against corruption and protracted war. Adhere to the dare not corrupt, can not corrupt, do not want to corrupt one push, more forcefully curb the increment, more effectively remove the stock.
