How to understand the inevitable connection and logical relationship between the establishment of the early organization of the Communist Party of China and the concentration of industrial workers?

The early organization of the Communist Party of China was established in the semi-colonial and semi-feudal society, which has its historical inevitability. This is a multi-factor product of modern Chinese history and revolutionary development. Among them, the concentration of industrial workers is a very important factor.
There is an inevitable link between the early establishment of the Party's organization and the concentration of industrial workers. The scattered small-scale peasant economy formed the economic foundation of China's feudal monarchy for more than two thousand years. It was not until modern times that the emergence of industrial workers changed the situation of vague social class differences, lack of modern group consciousness and unorganized. Industrial workers are the representatives of China's new productive forces, and their concentration and low economic status make them the most progressive, revolutionary and promising class in modern China. The concentration of industrial workers, coupled with the combination of the vast number of non-industrial workers, is conducive to the organization and unity of the proletariat, is conducive to the spread of revolutionary ideas and the development of revolutionary forces among workers, so as to facilitate the formation of relatively strong struggle forces in large cities where workers are concentrated, and then set up political organizations representing the interests of the working class. The concentration, growth and growth of industrial workers and the development of the workers' movement laid a solid class foundation for the establishment of the early organization of the Communist Party of China. During the May 4th Movement, the Chinese working class began to enter the stage of Chinese history as an independent political force. With the concentration, growth and growth of industrial workers and the development of the workers' movement, the establishment of the early organization of the Communist Party of China has come to a ripe and natural time. During this period, Chinese advanced intellectuals adapted to the characteristics of the concentration of industrial workers to carry out Marxist propaganda, closely integrated Marxism-Leninism with the Chinese workers' movement, and the early organization of the Communist Party of China came into being.
Shanghai established the first early organization of the Communist Party of China, which has a lot to do with the highest concentration of industrial workers. Due to the cruel oppression and exploitation of the capitalists, the labor movement developed rapidly in Shanghai. During the May Fourth Movement, an anti-imperialist and anti-feudal strike broke out in Shanghai. The workers who participated in the strike covered the textile, printing, machinery, tram, navigation, railway, telephone and other machinery industries, handicrafts and transportation industries. This political struggle movement of the working class as an independent force highlighted that Shanghai was the region with the highest degree of industrialization and the strongest strength of industrial workers in China at that time, and demonstrated the revolutionary struggle spirit of the Chinese working class represented by the Shanghai working class. It shows that Shanghai has the most suitable conditions and environment for the early Chinese Communists to organize activities and later formally establish the Communist Party of China. After the October Revolution, Soviet Russia and the Communist International have noticed that "Shanghai is the most industrialized area, with more workers than anywhere in China". After the baptism of the May Fourth Movement, the Chinese proletariat represented by Shanghai workers has the basic conditions for establishing its own political party to lead the Chinese revolution. With the help of the Communist International, the party building work in Shanghai began. In May 1920, the Marxist Research Society was established to discuss the socialist theory and the transformation of Chinese society. In August, the early Communist Party organization was established in the editorial department of New Youth in Shanghai. In November, the early organization of the Communist Party drafted the Manifesto of the Communist Party of China, stating that "the purpose of communists is to create a new society in accordance with the ideals of communists". The early organization of the Communist Party established in Shanghai was actually the initiating organization of the Communist Party of China and the contact center for communists from all over the country to carry out party building activities.
Beijing, Wuhan, Changsha, Jinan and Guangzhou have also established early party organizations, which are closely related to the concentration of industrial workers. Beijing, Wuhan, Changsha, Jinan and Guangzhou are all trade ports and central cities with relatively developed commodity economy or convenient water and land transportation since modern times. These areas gave birth to China's early industrial and mining enterprises, gathered a large number of industrial workers. By 1919, the number of industrial workers in the country had increased to more than 200 million. Among them, Wuhan is the second largest industrial center in the country after Shanghai, and the number of industrial workers ranks second in the country. Beijing, Changsha, Jinan and Guangzhou also have tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of industrial workers respectively. Within these cities, Chinese industrial workers are concentrated. In terms of industry categories, most of them are engaged in silk, cotton, coal and iron ore, railways, shipbuilding, shipping and other industries. In some large enterprises as many as thousands or even tens of thousands of workers. Although the absolute number of industrial workers in China is only a very small proportion of the country's total population, it is more concentrated than any other social group.
Geographical agglomeration has also had a direct impact on the formation and improvement of the consciousness of the industrial working class. In modern times, Chinese industrial workers were oppressed by imperialism, feudalism and bureaucratic capitalism. Their economic and political status was extremely low. Their long working hours, low income and poor safety conditions were rare in the world. Their daily working hours are generally more than 12 hours, some as high as 16 hours. Wages are quite meager, and the wages of adult male workers in China are only 1/4 or 1/6 the wages of similar foreign workers, and the wages of contract workers, women workers and child workers are halved. They do not have complete personal freedom, nor do they have any political rights. Not only are strikes illegal, but they are often insulted, beaten and scolded by capitalists and foremen. Their working conditions are extremely poor, neither labor insurance nor labor protection, safety and sanitation conditions are extremely poor, and various casualties continue to occur. Under the cruel exploitation and oppression, the workers constantly fought against each other in order to survive and get the right to be a human being, and the workers' movement developed rapidly. The relative concentration of industrial workers in geographical location is conducive to workers overcoming the conceptual consciousness brought by the small producer class, and is conducive to the development of unity, organization, and discipline, and the formation of a strong struggle force. From 1914 to 1919, before the May 4th Movement, there were more than 100 spontaneous strikes by industrial workers. During this period, the scale of strikes increased day by day, many strikes went beyond the scope of a factory and mine, and strikes of an allied nature gradually increased. Chinese workers gradually realized the necessity of "common resistance", especially the handicraft workers broke away from the restrictions of feudal guilds to carry out the struggle against their owners, which made the class consciousness that "workers tend to take independent collective actions to vent their dissatisfaction and fight for rights" began to appear. This situation is just as Mao Zedong later pointed out in "Analysis of Various Classes in Chinese Society": "Although the number of the industrial proletariat is small, it is the representative of China's new productive forces. It is the most progressive class in modern China and has become a revolutionary movement. The leading force of", "The first reason why they can do this is concentration" and "the second reason is low economic status".
Chinese advanced intellectuals paid attention to carrying out Marxist propaganda in combination with the characteristics of the concentration of industrial workers, which created conditions for the establishment of the early organization of the Communist Party of China. In the practice of struggle, Chinese advanced intellectuals gradually realized that only by combining with the toiling masses can they win the revolution. They went deep into the working class one after another, preached the view that "labor is sacred", determined to "associate with labor", and carried out a lot of practical propaganda and organizational work among the workers. They paid special attention to the characteristics of the concentration of industrial workers, and adapted to this characteristic to carry out Marxist propaganda and carry out the party's founding work. After Chen Duxiu arrived in Shanghai from Beijing in February 1920, he began to combine Marxism with the labor movement. In order to mobilize the workers to carry out the revolutionary struggle, Chen Duxiu went to the China Industrial Association, the China Federation of Trade Unions and other labor organizations to investigate, in-depth understanding of the strike situation of Shanghai Xiaoshadu and dock workers, and set up a workers' tutorial school. On April 2, he also attended the inaugural meeting of the "Shipping Rank Housing Industry Federation" initiated by Shanghai dockers, and delivered a speech on "Workers' Consciousness", which spoke highly of the important position of the working class in society. In March 1920, Li Dazhao secretly set up the Marxist Theory Research Association at Peking University, advocating intellectuals to go to the workers. Communist intellectuals at Peking University began their investigations among the human-coachmen and the workers of the Peking University printing house. In April 1920, Deng Zhongxia and others led the civilian education lecture group of Peking University to publicize among the railway workers in Changxindian, and later established a fixed connection, making Changxindian the base of the northern workers' movement. On May 1, 1920, under the organization of communist intellectuals, the Chinese working class commemorated for the first time the "May 1st" International Labor Day, a festival of unity and fighting. Workers in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Tangshan and other places have held commemorative activities. Chen Duxiu carried out investigation, research and publicity work for this purpose, and published "Labor Day Commemorative Number" in May 1920, Volume 7, No. 6 of "New Youth". In addition to publishing articles such as "The History of the May 1st MayDay Movement" and "The Problem of Hunan Women Workers in Shanghai Health Cotton Mill", the commemorative special issue also published the status of workers in Shanghai, Beijing, Tianjin, Changsha, Wuhu, Wuxi, Nanjing, Tangshan and other places. Investigation. After the May 4th Movement, revolutionary intellectuals went to the masses of workers to carry out Marxist propaganda activities, which not only raised the class and political consciousness of the masses of workers, but also changed the world outlook of revolutionary intellectuals. In this way, it created conditions for the establishment of the early organization of the Communist Party of China and the further integration of Marxism with the Chinese workers' movement.
