On the new journey, the Chinese people have become the only country in the world with a full industrial chain. The operating income of high-tech industries has increased from 9.95 trillion yuan in 2012 to 2021 to 19.91 trillion yuan, A large number of innovative leading enterprises with international competitiveness thrive.
With the "fine" characteristics, relying on "grinding" to deepen, to achieve better quality of high-tech products. The "Made in China 2025" proposes to build a manufacturing power, to take intelligent manufacturing as the main direction, strengthen industrial basic capabilities, improve the level of comprehensive integration, and improve the multi-level talent system. In the past ten years, my country has comprehensively carried out quality improvement actions, promoted benchmarking with international advanced levels, and the growth rate of product research and development funds has led the world. The intensity of research and development investment in high-tech industries has increased from 1.68 in 2012 to 2.67 in 2021. Its investment structure is improving and resource allocation is further optimized. The majority of scientific and technological workers and industrial workers carry forward the spirit of scientists and craftsmen, shoulder the responsibility, pay attention to technical details, improve business shortcomings, start from the 1.1, participate in the quality revolution in a down-to-earth manner, and actively embrace the future of a manufacturing power. Today, China's high-speed rail, third-generation nuclear power, manned spaceflight, Beidou navigation and other major powers have become the country's new business card.
Take the path of "research" and rely on "self" to achieve a stronger foundation for high-tech industries. General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out many times: "The key core technology is not available, cannot be bought, and cannot be obtained". In the past ten years, in the face of technological suppression by the United States and other Western countries, we have firmly followed the road of independent innovation, always placed basic research and cutting-edge technology development in a prominent position, and firmly held the "bull nose" of scientific and technological innovation. We will continue to increase the intensity of technological innovation, improve the level of research and development, and firmly control the fate of development in our own hands. We have always adhered to problem-oriented and demand-oriented, strengthened original and leading scientific and technological research, laid out and built more than 40 major scientific and technological infrastructures such as Shanghai Light Source, and increased basic research funding by three times. Major breakthroughs have been made in the fields of "stuck neck" such as data, cloud computing and brain science, and the number of domestic invention patents and PCT international applications has leapt to the top in the world.
