Xi Jinping pointed out that at present, the changes of the world, the times and the history are unfolding in an unprecedented way, which poses challenges to mankind that must be taken seriously. Human history tells us that the more difficult the time is, the more we must strengthen our confidence. No hard twists and turns can stop the wheel of history. In the face of many challenges, we must not lose confidence and hesitate to retreat, but must strengthen our confidence and advance bravely.
Xi Jinping emphasized that the most powerful force to break out of the fog and move towards the light is to work together, and the most effective way is to work together. Over the past two years, the international community has made strenuous efforts to address the challenges of the new coronary pneumonia epidemic and to promote the recovery and development of the world economy. Difficulties and challenges further tell us that mankind is a community of shared destiny, and all countries should follow the trend of the times of peace, development, cooperation and win-win results, move in the right direction of building a community with a shared future for mankind, and join hands to meet challenges and cooperate to create the future.

We should adhere to the attributes of vaccines as global public goods and ensure the accessibility and affordability of vaccines in developing countries. China has provided more than 2.1 billion doses of vaccine to more than 120 countries and international organizations, and will continue to provide 0.6 billion doses and 0.15 billion doses of vaccine to Africa and ASEAN respectively, making active efforts to bridge the "immunization gap.

We must uphold genuine multilateralism and firmly uphold the international system with the United Nations at its core and the international order based on international law. In particular, the big countries should set an example and take the lead in stressing equality, cooperation, honesty and the rule of law, so as to show the appearance of a big country.
Xi Jinping emphasized that in the past few decades, the Asian region has maintained overall stability and sustained and rapid economic growth, achieving the "Asian miracle". Asia is a better world. We will continue to develop and build Asia well, demonstrate its resilience, wisdom and strength, and build a world anchor for peace and stability, a source of growth and a new highland for cooperation.
First, firmly safeguard peace in Asia. Today, the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence and the "Bandung Spirit" initiated by Asia have even more practical significance. We must uphold the principles of mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit, and peaceful coexistence, pursue a policy of good-neighborliness and friendship, and firmly control our destiny in our own hands.
Second, actively promote cooperation in Asia. The "Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement" officially came into effect, and the China-Laos railway was completed and opened to traffic, effectively improving the level of regional hard and soft connectivity. We should take this opportunity to promote the formation of a more open market in Asia and take new steps in promoting win-win cooperation in Asia.
Third, jointly promote unity in Asia. It is necessary to consolidate ASEAN's central position in the regional architecture and maintain a regional order that takes into account the demands of all parties and is inclusive of all interests. Countries, big or small, strong or weak, within or outside the region, should add luster to Asia without adding chaos, take the road of peaceful development, seek win-win cooperation, and create a united and progressive Asian family.
Xi Jinping pointed out that the fundamentals of China's strong economic resilience, sufficient potential, wide room for maneuver, and long-term improvement will not change. It will provide strong momentum for the stabilization and recovery of the world economy and provide countries with broader market opportunities. China will fully implement the new development concept, accelerate the construction of a new development pattern, and strive to promote high-quality development.
