　　Hello, Mr. Wang Guofeng. Thank you very much for taking time out of your busy schedule to accept our interview so that more "high-end hospital people" can understand you and the embedded team.
The embedded institute has been established for 16 years, and I have had contact with you a long time ago. I am especially grateful to Mr. Wang for his long-term high support for the work in the institute. Although I have known you for a long time, I don't know much about your personal experience. Would you please take this opportunity to introduce it to us?

Thank you, Mr. Wang! First of all, on behalf of the embedded institute, I would like to thank the institute for its years of support. Since our establishment in 16 years, leaders at all levels of the institute have been strongly supporting the work of our institute, and have received a lot of help from the production office space, staff training, business development, academic exchanges and other aspects. Our work performance is also getting better and better, the number of people continues to expand, and it has also been recognized by many industries.
As for me personally. I graduated from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and studied in Tsinghua University. After graduation, he worked in the First Aircraft Design and Research Institute of the Aviation Industry for two years, the Sixth Institute of the Electronics Department and its subordinate companies for three years, and then worked in the Hesse Group (Automation Company) for five years. 13 years later, he co-founded Beijing Lanpufeng Technology Co., Ltd. with several senior brothers in Tsinghua. At the end of 16, he joined Tsinghua Tianjin High-end Institute as deputy director of the Institute of Embedded Systems and Internet of Things. To sum up, I studied aerospace, but gradually turned to automation. Relatively speaking, I prefer the following workplace roles.


 

　　What kind of opportunity is the establishment of embedded?
First of all, Xu Changrong, the director of the embedded institute and the start-up members are familiar with the teacher team of the main backbone of Tsinghua Tianjin High-end Institute. In the process of communication with the leaders of the institute, it was found that the main team of the institute at that time was mainly majoring in machinery, and the direction of robotics and automation was one of the important development directions of the institute. Our team was an automation team, which was in line with the overall development of the institute, the platform of the research institute can provide broad development space for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.
At the same time, under the national policy, the transformation from a big manufacturing country to a manufacturing power will certainly provide more development space for independent innovation teams, which was also taken into account by our construction at that time.
　
　　What is the current functional orientation of the embedded institute?
At the beginning of its establishment, the institute was clearly positioned as the overall planning and scheme design of embedded system and Internet of things, and the development of embedded system and Internet of things products, so as to promote the deep integration of industrialization and informatization. Unifying the school's scientific and technological research and development capabilities with the enterprise's market capabilities, and doing a good job in the development and practice of production, education and research for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements are the functions of the current research institute.

　　Can you tell us about the R & D and industrial application of the embedding institute as a whole?
OK. Our institute is mainly located in the embedded product development and promotion of the Internet of Things technology. After several years of hard work, we have developed RPC3000 series PLC, RPC2000 series PLC and a variety of special automation products. All kinds of products are also widely used in electric power, coal, petrochemical, municipal, transportation, environmental protection, energy saving, construction, water conservancy, agriculture and other industries. At present, the market feedback has been well received by the majority of users.
Our RPC3000 series PLC is a new generation of control system developed for medium and large-scale engineering projects and high-end equipment. It has reached the international advanced level in terms of advancement, stability and reliability. RPC2000 series PLC Our products are characterized by strong control computing capabilities and high-performance signal processing capabilities, especially equipment and small automation projects are a good choice.


 

　　In fact, the competition in the field of PLC is very fierce. Europe and the United States have very well-known and mature brands. We hope to occupy more market share in China. What do you think are the difficulties and advantages?
This industry is different from the fast-growing consumer electronics industry. The PLC industry has a high threshold and is relatively mature. If you want to do a good job in PLC business, you must rely on the accumulation of 1.1 drops in order to be finally recognized by users. It has been 50 years since the birth of the first PLC. PLC, as the core product of automation, plays a key role in the development of the industry. Especially in recent years, with the continuous advancement of industrial structure adjustment and transformation and upgrading, domestic users' demand for PLC has been growing steadily, and the market space is still very broad.
Because in the context of foreign brands occupying most of the market, the development prospects of domestic brands as a new force are very impressive. In this way, the development of PLC business has become the choice of many enterprises. But the same, considerable market also attracted part of the "speculators", low-end, homogenization and "price war" of the bad market phenomenon also exists in the domestic PLC market.

　　Seeing that we have so many advantages, the editor also feels particularly confident, so can you talk about the goal of the institute?
The current social environment can be said to be a relatively good development period for domestic brands. We pay more attention to independent research and development and independent innovation of science and technology than ever, and are moving towards the goal of a manufacturing power.
Therefore, one of the main goals of the Institute in the near future is to realize the research and development of independent and controllable PLC products and systems, that is, to realize the production design of products from software to hardware in the whole country. We are helping enterprises with needs in the fields of national defense and energy to realize the localization and independent control of their products, which is an important work goal of the Institute at present.

　　Among all the projects signed by the Institute, which do you think are the most successful, or the most anticipated and promising?
We have signed some military-industrial projects, which have solved many military problems and contributed to the development of our national defense. This is something we are relatively proud and happy, and we have a great sense of accomplishment.

 

　　You have different roles in the enterprise and the research institute. What do you think is the difference between the two?
Indeed, there are great differences between the two roles. One is the research and management personnel of public institutions, who participate in product research and development, including indoor tests, data analysis and collation, form reports or data reports, complete relevant theoretical and technical research, and assist higher-level units to complete project plan formulation, project application and other work.
One is the manager of the enterprise, participating in the enterprise operation, personnel management, market development, business direction planning and other specific front-end things.
The two roles are more "Wen" and more "Wu". Apart from the shortage of time, I feel that both of them exercise people and can temper their will. In the past few years of work, I have greatly improved.

　　You usually live in Beijing, what is the frequency of your visit?
I spend most of my time in Beijing. Generally speaking, I come to Tianjin once a week or so. Now the country is getting stronger and stronger, and the infrastructure is getting better and better. It is very convenient for me to come to Tianjin from Beijing. It takes more than an hour to drive and about an hour to sit in the intercity. There is basically no feeling of city boundaries.

　　Indeed, we have many team leaders who travel to and from Beijing and Tianjin. This kind of work life in both places does not have much impact on everyone. The transportation between cities is very convenient. Regarding family life, as far as I know, you have two children. Can you tell us the age of the children?
I have two lovely babies. I stayed in this city because I came to Beijing to study. I got married relatively late. The older one is now in junior high school and the younger one is still in kindergarten!

 

　As a father of two children, do you usually have any experience in educating your children? The country is currently vigorously implementing the "double reduction" policy, Beijing is a pilot city, now these policies have any impact on children, what are your personal feelings and thoughts?
This is really a shame. I really don't have a say in the education of my children, and I don't do it very well. I 've been busy working for so many years, and I can't take care of many things at home. Now the boss has just entered junior high school. I also actively participate in his study and life, hoping to make up for it.
The "double reduction" policy is indeed a good policy, and the state is very considerate of the people's feelings. Due to the vigorous development of extracurricular training and education, China's education has indeed produced a great phenomenon of involution. After the serious implementation of this policy, it will certainly reduce the pressure on parents and children and return to the essence of compulsory education and even higher education.


 

　　Can you be defined as an entrepreneur and what are your personal goals?
It's over 40, and I know what I can do. I have some goals in mind, but now it's more and more realistic. I just want to do something and hope to make some contribution to the national industrial control cause.

　　I feel that Mr. Wang is very pragmatic and practical. Okay, the last question, you are very good. What kind of talents do you want to train your children into in the future?
My wish is the same as most parents. I hope that my children will grow up happily and be honest, healthy and happy people who are useful to society. I don't want to put too much shackles on my children. I hope they can do what they like.

When I was in my twenties, I didn't think about these things, but there is a spirit in my personality that does not admit defeat, which is to remind myself to work hard. When I was over 30 and suddenly had a family, I wanted to earn money for my family and provide a better environment for my family. So I began to read some books on success, set myself a goal of struggle, and hoped that my wealth would be free. When I was in my forties, I knew that there were some things I could pursue hard. It was really hard to say if I could succeed. Just look at the relatives around me and live a friendly life. I was not under much pressure. This was success.
　　

　　What faults do you hate most about others?
I think I attach more importance to feelings and friendship, so I hate people who are hypocritical, haha.

　　What qualities do you like most in men?
I haven't really thought about this yet. I must say it. I still like elegant demeanor.

　　What was your favorite trip?
I drove my wife and daughter to Weihai, and once I climbed Huangshan together. Traveling like this, I think it is mainly family. I have traveled through many cities without any special feeling.

　　If you could choose, what would you like to reproduce?
College time is really beautiful, there are all the beautiful things, forever!
