The 2021RoboCup Robot World Cup China Tournament and the Asia-Pacific Robot World Cup Tianjin International Invitational Tournament are about to start. In order to let everyone better understand the various events of the competition, the column "Xiao Bian said the events" is now opened.

  RoboCup Rescue Robot Group Project

The purpose of the rescue robot group competition is to promote the research and development of urban search and rescue robot technology. Through the competition, it can provide objective performance evaluation standards for rescue robots to operate in complex environments. In the competition, each team needs to complete challenging tasks and fully demonstrate the performance of its rescue robot (mobility, perception ability, positioning and mapping ability, operation interface, remote control, autonomy, etc.) in the process of completing the task. The competition is a stage for the technological progress of rescue robots and an experimental field for testing rescue robot systems. The ultimate goal of the competition is to use the robot for a real rescue mission.

The task of the competition is to control the rescue robot to search and rescue the trapped people in the maze-like field. The winning team must be able to complete several tasks well. The total score of the competition will be ranked first, second and third according to the total score after completing all tasks. In addition, three individual challenge champions will be set up: passing ability challenge, dexterous operation challenge and autonomous ability challenge.

A building collapsed in the earthquake. The emergency handling and rescue team was responsible for organizing rescue at the site of the incident and requesting additional rescue robots to assist in searching and rescuing the trapped people in the building to prevent re-injury caused by aftershocks. The environmental state is not damaged at the entrance of the building, but the degree of damage will gradually increase as you enter the interior of the building. The task of the rescue robot and its operator is to determine the scene environment, find the trapped person, and mark the obtained information (the position and status of the trapped person) on the scene map established by the rescue robot.



  

 

  RoboCup Rescue Simulation Team Project
RoboCup robot rescue simulation is a simulation system that uses robots to rescue by simulating real-life urban disaster scenarios. It is an emerging project that is very closely integrated with the application field. Its main purpose is to enable rescue agents to carry out effective division of labor and cooperation, complete the task of rescuing citizens and extinguishing fires, in order to minimize the losses caused by disasters, and then promote research and development on the major social issue of disaster rescue.

RoboCup robot rescue simulation is a system that uses computers to simulate real urban disasters. For example, in the simulation environment when an earthquake occurs: houses, buildings, etc. have collapsed; roads, tracks, and other public transportation facilities have been destroyed. Destroyed; basic urban facilities such as electricity and sewer systems have also been destroyed; communication facilities and information dissemination have been interrupted, many victims were buried under collapsed houses; the fire caused by the earthquake began to spread quickly; the road through which the fire truck was going to pass was blocked by the debris of collapsed houses, etc. In order to reduce the loss caused by the disaster, the participating team needs to develop a strong rescue agent team, carry out effective rescue in the disaster scene provided by the simulation system, and rescue the injured people as soon as possible, save people's lives and property, and reduce the loss of the disaster to a minimum.
