Startup Meeting of Grease Product Development Engineering Research Center Held Successfully
On October 29, 2020, the grease product development engineering research center jointly established by Sinopec Lubricant Co., Ltd. Tianjin Branch (hereinafter referred to as "Tianjin Zipper Company") and Tsinghua University Tianjin High-end Equipment Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as "Tsinghua Tianjin High-end Institute") held a kick-off meeting in Tianjin. Zhang Xiangjun, vice president of Tsinghua Tianjin High-end Institute, attended the event as a member of the expert committee of the Petroleum and Chemical Industry Engineering Center, and on the "industrial equipment intelligent lubrication digital platform" for the theme of the report.
At the meeting, many experts and scholars shared and exchanged technical research and development in related fields such as grease tribology research, intelligent lubrication technology, grease material science, grease elastohydrodynamic and rheology, new progress in bearing grease lubrication research, and grease for passenger car alternator bearings, so as to offer suggestions for improving the overall technical level of grease in China.
Grease Product Development Engineering Research Center is the first product development research center in the grease industry established under the joint promotion of Jinzhi Company and Tsinghua Tianjin High-end Institute Lubrication and Friction Testing Center. Relying on the technical advantages of Jinzhi Company in the direction of grease development, combined with the technical evaluation advantages of Tsinghua Tianjin High-end Institute in the direction of friction and lubrication, the center conducts common research on key technologies, faces the major needs of the country, provides advanced and applicable research results for enterprises, and provides key technical support for the technological progress of the industry.
The establishment of the Grease Product Development Engineering Research Center is not only a strong combination of the industry leader in the field of grease in my country and the national team of basic research, but also a strong source of power for the innovation of lubrication technology in my country's manufacturing and equipment industries. In the future, the Grease Product Development Engineering Center will bravely take on the important task of scientific and technological innovation given by history, build it into a banner of innovation and research in the global grease industry, and contribute to the realization of the independent control of China's high-end equipment lubrication technology and the leading world in high-end lubrication products.
