China Academy of Railway Sciences Group Co., Ltd. came to our hospital to visit and exchange
On August 13, 2019, Li Xuefeng, deputy general manager and member of the Party committee of China Academy of Railway Sciences Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Academy of Railway Sciences"), and a group of 11 people came to our hospital for exchange and docking. The visitors first visited the exhibition hall and laboratory of the high-end institute, and then had a concentrated exchange in the conference room. He Yongyong first delivered a welcome speech and reviewed the cooperation foundation of Tsinghua University, the high-end institute and the Institute of Railway Sciences. He hoped that the two sides could find more points of agreement through docking, form a cooperation framework, give full play to the advantages of both sides, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

Gan Dunwen, deputy director of the Locomotive and Rolling Stock Institute of the Academy of Railway Sciences, Feng Zhongwei, deputy director of the Railway Construction Institute, and Zhang Bin, deputy director of the Institute of Metal Chemistry, respectively introduced the development of their respective institutes, and conducted in-depth exchanges with high-end institutes on institutional management and scientific research cooperation. The heads of 10 research institutes, including the Wheel and Rail Center of the High-end Institute, briefly reported on the research direction related to railway transportation in combination with their own business, hoping to connect with the relevant research institutes of the Institute of Railway Sciences in depth.

Li Xuefeng, deputy general manager of the Academy of Railway Sciences, pointed out that the high-end institute relies on the Department of Machinery of Tsinghua University and has top domestic scientific research talents. It has a number of high-level research results in rail transit, intelligent manufacturing and other fields. It is hoped that the two parties will build a cooperation framework and organize research institutes. The level conducts special exchanges around 3D metal printing and other directions, excavates cooperation projects and implements them as soon as possible. He Yongyong said that the high-end institute will sort out the technical points that can be docked and organize relevant research teams to pay a return visit to the institute of railway science.

The Academy of Railway Sciences is the only multi-disciplinary and multi-professional comprehensive research institution in my country's railway system. It has 17 research institutions, 5 national laboratories, 32 wholly-owned companies, and 7 holding companies. Centering on the key areas of railway construction and transportation production, the Academy of Railway Sciences has carried out a large number of major and key technology research and experimental research, which has made important contributions to promoting the progress of railway science and technology in China. This visit has deepened the understanding between the two sides, established a communication mechanism, made the docking goals clearer, and reached a consensus on jointly promoting substantive cooperation.
