Fan Qin, former party member and deputy district chief of the Banan District Government of Chongqing, and others went abroad with public funds in violation of regulations. In June 2016, Fan Qin and other six people went to Japan and South Korea to carry out investment promotion inspection activities from June 27 to July 4, 2016 by contacting travel agencies to purchase invitation letters and fabricating false itineraries. In the meantime, most of the approved visit itinerary and task arrangements were changed without authorization, and the itinerary was increased on its own to visit many tourist attractions. The cost of 67060 yuan exceeding the standard shall be reimbursed by the entourage under fictitious names in their respective units. After returning to China, Fan Qin and others did not truthfully report the actual itinerary during the period of going abroad, and reported the false visit report fabricated by the travel agency. Fan Qin was removed from the post of deputy district chief of Banan District, and was removed from the post of deputy district chief of Banan District; the accompanying personnel were subject to corresponding disciplinary sanctions, and the excessive expenses were refunded.

Zhang Yi, former party secretary and president of Enshi Branch of Hubei Bank, illegally organized a banquet with public funds. On the afternoon of October 25, 2015, Zhang Yi and others hosted a banquet for Pang Hongyan in a restaurant in Wuhan, congratulating him on his transfer to the deputy director of the Provincial Geological Bureau. The total meal fee was 3815 yuan, which was arranged by Zhang Yi to be paid by the person in charge of Enshi Branch's office, and 3798 yuan was offset with other invoices in 6 times. Zhang Yi was severely warned by the party and was removed from the post of party secretary and president of Enshi Branch of Hubei Bank, and the banquet expenses were borne by the individual; Pang Hongyan was warned by the party.

Zheng Pengwen, an investigator of the Public Security Bureau of Chongzuo City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, held a large-scale wedding banquet for his son and received gifts in violation of regulations. In January 2016, Zheng Pengwen held his son's wedding banquet in two large-scale operations, which exceeded the local standard by 15 tables and illegally received a gift of 47897 yuan. Afterwards, Zheng Pengwen did not truthfully report to the organization about his excessive banquets and illegal receipt of gift money. Zheng Pengwen was severely warned by the party and returned the gift money he received in violation of the regulations.

Cao Chunxi, former director of the Insurance Intermediary Supervision Department of the Shaanxi Regulatory Bureau of the China Insurance Regulatory Commission, accepted banquets and gifts that may affect the fair performance of official duties. In November 2015, after accepting an application for the establishment of an insurance brokerage company, Cao Chunxi accepted a banquet from the company's promoters in his company's canteen and received gifts such as high-end liquor. Cao Chunxi was warned by the party and was removed from the post of director of the insurance intermediary supervision department. He was responsible for the meal expenses and returned the gifts.

Wang Guangyun, secretary of the party committee of Daqing Oilfield Co., Ltd., and others exceeded the standard official reception and other issues. On April 26, 2016, at the invitation of Wang Guangyun and Jiang Guosheng, manager of Daqing Oilfield Water Company, Jiang Lian, chief procurator of Daqing Municipal People's Procuratorate, went to Daqing Oilfield Water Company to have a discussion with Wang Guangyun and likui jy, secretary of Daqing Oilfield Commission for Discipline Inspection, and had dinner in the company canteen that night. Dining for 4 people costs 1493 yuan, which is more than the reception standard stipulated by the unit in 693 yuan. During the organization of the investigation, with the consent of Wang Guangyun and Li Kui, Jiang Guosheng fabricated the false situation of entertaining the heads of Daqing municipal government and relevant departments on business in an attempt to cover up the facts. Li Kui signed and endorsed the preliminary nuclear report and reported it. Wang Guangyun, Li Kui, and Jiang Guosheng were respectively severely warned and punished by the party; Li Kui was removed from the post of secretary of the Daqing Oilfield Discipline Inspection Commission; Jiang Lian was criticized and educated, and made a profound inspection at the democratic life meeting.

The relevant person in charge of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection pointed out that since the implementation of the eight regulations of the Central Committee, the effectiveness of work style construction has been obvious to all, but the problem of violating discipline against the wind still occurs from time to time, and some "four styles" problems have been changed and dived underground. Some arbitrarily change the route of their visits, report false visits to travel abroad with public funds, some divide the expenses for banquets with public funds into parts and reimburse them in batches, some go to canteens and other internal places to receive over-standard receptions and banquets from service objects, and some even resort to fraud and confrontation during the organization of investigations. These party members and cadres who have been dealt with, knowing that the central government has disciplinary requirements, still have a fluke, go their own way, touch the red line of discipline, and seriously violate the spirit of the eight central regulations and must be dealt with seriously.
