　　Background:

The manufacturing industry is an important symbol of the country's comprehensive strength and international competitiveness. The first seminar of this project is the first advanced seminar of professional and technical personnel knowledge update project independently undertaken by Tsinghua University as a national professional and technical personnel continuing education base of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. Organized and implemented by the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Tsinghua University and the Tianjin High-end Equipment Research Institute of Tsinghua University, three sessions have been held since June 2016, training senior managers and related management cadres of well-known enterprise groups such as China Weapons, China Building Materials, China Motor, XCMG, BAIC, Haier, Angang, Lanshi, and related management cadres in more than ten provinces and regions across the country, leaders of universities and vocational colleges More than 200 people including teaching backbones have won the second prize of the 2016 Tsinghua University Continuing Education Excellent Project. It is a leading brand for the training of high-end talents in my country's manufacturing industry and the collaborative innovation of government, industry.

2017 is a key year for the implementation of the "Made in China 2025". This seminar is aimed at the urgent needs of my country's manufacturing industry upgrading, innovative development and talent training during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, relying on Tsinghua University's strong scientific research strength and long-term experience in high-end talent training, as well as close cooperation with domestic leading companies to promote rich practices in transformation and upgrading, the aim is to help learners deeply understand policy opportunities, economic situation, industrial trends, key technologies, enterprise development strategies and operational practices, and cultivate a group of outstanding enterprises and leading talents who represent the development direction of international and domestic advanced manufacturing technology, and have core competitiveness in business model, operation management, innovation system and human resources, Build a manufacturing innovation system, and comprehensively enhance the overall innovation development ability and core competitiveness of China's manufacturing industry.
