Table Interface Micro-nano Technology Research Institute Team Won the National Finals of Tsinghua Alumni Creative Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition
On June 30, 2016, the "Tsinghua Alumni Creative Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and National Finals" (referred to as the "Three Innovation Competition") award ceremony hosted by the Tsinghua Alumni Association and the Tsinghua University Committee of the Communist Youth League was grandly held in Tsinghua Science and Technology Park. The nano self-assembled coating modified oil-water separation technology of the team of the Institute of Surface and Nano Technology of Tianjin High-end Equipment Research Institute of Tsinghua University stood out among more than 300 entries and won the seed group championship.

Final Live Show
In this competition, Tsinghua alumni, teachers and students gathered. Chen Xu, Secretary of the Party Committee of Tsinghua University, Tang Jie, Secretary General of Tsinghua Alumni Association, and other school leaders also came to the competition site to give high recognition and appreciation to the competition. I hope Tsinghua alumni will carry forward the "three innovation spirit" and wish the competition better and better.

The Institute of surface interface micro-nano technology is one of the earliest research institutes established by Tianjin high-end equipment Research Institute of Tsinghua University. It is committed to the research and transformation of practical technology in the direction of micro-nano particle self-assembly and fluid-solid interface effect. In this competition, the team used nano self-assembly coating to modify the existing filter materials, and achieved low-cost and high-efficiency separation of various oil-water mixtures. The technology can be widely used in the treatment of oily wastewater and oil leakage emergency treatment in petrochemical, machinery and catering industries, and has a broad market prospect.
