Institute of Biomedicine and Equipment Formally Established

On May 8, the Institute of Biomedicine and equipment of Tianjin High-end equipment Research Institute of Tsinghua University (hereinafter referred to as "Biology Institute") was officially signed and established, located in Building 5, High-end Institute of Kechuang Huigu Park, Huaming High-tech Zone, Dongli District. As a key research field supported by national science and technology and one of the key areas of "Made in China 2025", the frontier scientific research and product incubation of biomedicine have always been highly valued by the country.

Relying on the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Tsinghua University, the High-end Institute serves as a comprehensive technology transformation and industrial incubation platform that implements the integration of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, the integration of production, education and research, and integrates collaborative innovation, industrial incubation, investment and financing services. Since its establishment, it has actively integrated various disciplines and promoted the construction of innovation platform.

As one of the scientific research and innovation platforms under the high-end institute, the Institute of Biomedicine and Equipment focuses on the scientific research and achievement transformation of life sciences and biological technology in the fields of drug research and development, medical care, health food and health products. Up to now, the institute has carried out office and experimental area renovation projects in the site selection area, and has customized the relevant laboratory equipment. Professor Wang Zhao, the director of the institute, has repeatedly come to the site to guide the site renovation work, which has given great support and provided strong guarantee for the smooth progress of the work. At present, the progress of the renovation project has reached more than half. The introduction of talents in the institute has also been carried out in full swing, in addition to the main leading members of the institute, a number of regular employees have arrived and carried out corresponding work; at the same time, the institute actively contacted relevant ministries and commissions such as Tianjin and Dongli District to discuss and communicate the application of scientific and technological projects and preferential policies such as enterprise settlement and introduction of talents.

The product development work of the Institute of Biomedicine and Equipment is also in the same step. The "anti-mold" product has completed sample preparation, and another bioactive product is also under intensive research and development. At the same time, the institute actively cooperates with relevant biotechnology enterprises in Tianjin to negotiate and communicate products, technology and other cooperation fields, laying the foundation for the development of related cooperation projects in the future.
