The high-end hospital team received the US SI company delegation at Tsinghua University.
On April 23, 2018, Woodman, vice president of Tianjin High-end equipment Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as "High-end Institute") of Tsinghua University, and Sheng Xuan Yu, director of Advanced Energy equipment Technology Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as "Advanced Energy Institute"), received Mr. Wu Wenyu, senior consultant of American Structural Integrity(SI) Company, and Mr. Liao Jianmao, representative of China Agency of NAC International (NAC international), and his party.
At the exchange meeting, Woodman welcomed all the guests and briefly introduced the basic situation of the high-end institute, including the construction process, development status, operation mode and so on. The members of the delegation showed strong interest in the scientific research achievements of the institute and fully affirmed the technical strength of the high-end institute in intelligent manufacturing and high-end equipment, especially for the fields of digital nuclear power, small reactors, and life extension evaluation of nuclear power plants that are being carried out by the Advanced Energy Institute, the two sides believe that these fields are the cutting-edge and popular technologies in nuclear power in the world, and further exchanges and cooperation can be carried out. Subsequently, Wu Wenyu introduced the basic situation of the American SI company and its technical advantages and capabilities in structural assessment, nuclear power plant life extension, repair, etc., and these technologies are less developed in China, the demand is urgent, and there is a broad market space. The two sides agreed that SI has industry-leading technology and status in the United States, while the high-end institute has strong technical strength and wide recognition in China, and SI and the high-end institute can complement each other's advantages and provide services to the domestic nuclear power market such as nuclear power plant maintenance and life extension evaluation. Based on this cooperation intention, the two sides further conducted in-depth exchanges and made preliminary plans for the follow-up work.
