2017 is a year of hard work, and 2017 is a year of pioneering harvest. Through the 2017, we are moving towards the 2018. On the occasion of the Spring Festival, tsinghua University Tianjin High-end Equipment Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as "High-end Institute") Robot and Automation Equipment Engineering Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as "Robot Institute") and its incubator Qingyan Tongchuang Robot (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Qingyan Tongchuang") and Qingyan Huayu Intelligent Robot (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Qingyan Huayu") jointly organized the 2017 year-end summary meeting and 2018 New Year Annual Meeting successfully on February 7 at the airport Baiyun Hotel organize.

 

This annual meeting has attracted much attention. At the meeting, Zhang Wei first reviewed the course of the establishment of Qingyan Tongchuang Company from the robot institute. Three years of hard work and non-stop exploration have achieved the present achievements. With the establishment of the new company, it also marks a new journey for Tsinghua robot industrialization.

At the meeting, Liu Li first made a work summary report. She pointed out that after three years of development, the robot industry team has grown from six employees in 2015 to a workforce of more than 50 people, forming a four-in-one, each showing its strengths. In the system model, the division of labor among various units is clear and they work together for the cause of robot industrialization. A number of projects were completed in 2017, among which the 10 kV distribution network with electric fire robot project has attracted the attention of Tianjin leaders. Under the personal leadership of Professor Chen Ken, we have carried out in-depth cooperation with many aviation companies for different projects. Other military and civilian projects, including Fuhua spraying robot project, powder spraying robot project, Baoding Tianyin machine tool renovation project, and vision-based putty automatic spraying test bench, are also progressing in an orderly manner. With the care and support of leaders at all levels, the Institute of Robotics has won the title of High-end Institute of Excellence for two consecutive years. Finally, she hopes that all her colleagues will continue to work hard in 2018, unite as one for development, be loyal and dedicated for progress, create outstanding achievements together and share the fruits of development!

Then, Professor Chen Ken delivered a speech. He affirmed the development of the team in the past three years and clarified the development direction of the Robotics Institute, Qingyan Tongchuang Company, and Qingyan Huayu Company. He said that after more than three years of running-in, the team insisted on technological innovation and key technology research, which provided a steady stream of motivation for the follow-up marketization; in the market exploration, it formed a foreign market team in the headquarters, Northeast, and South China, which will be the future. Development and growth have laid a good foundation. Finally, he thanked leaders at all levels for their strong support to the team and believed that the team could do better.

In addition, he introduced the current development of enterprises in Huaming Street Park, saying that the establishment of Qingyan Tongchuang Company is not only the practical result of promoting scientific and technological leadership and innovation-driven, but also the perfect combination of the transformation and landing of scientific research achievements of local governments and universities.
