Tsinghua more than 100 mechanical students practice walking into our hospital
On the afternoon of October 28, the School of Mechanical Engineering of Tsinghua University organized students to visit and study at Tsinghua University Tianjin High-end Equipment Research Institute (referred to as "High-end Institute"), Huaming Machine Tool Museum, and CRRC Tangche Rail Vehicle Co., Ltd. More than 140 students majoring in machinery, aviation and power participated in this activity.
This visit and learning activity was initiated by the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Tsinghua University and co-organized by the High-end Institute. It is the practical part of the "Introduction to Mechanical Science and Technology" course. It aims to enable students to better grasp the current situation of advanced manufacturing and understand the needs of social development. Practice consolidates theoretical knowledge.
Introduction of High-end Hospital Operation Mode and Talent Training Mode
During the visit to the exhibition hall, the Tsinghua Student Practice Group first had a detailed understanding of the construction process, organizational structure and operation mode of our hospital. In the technical achievement exhibition area, the robot and automation equipment engineering research institute, the additive manufacturing technology and engineering research institute, the advanced energy equipment technology research institute, the lubrication technology research institute, the lubrication and friction testing center, the wheel-rail relationship and maintenance research center and other research institute leaders gave an in-depth explanation on the core technology and market transformation of the team.
Introduction of Technical Achievements of Scientific Research Team
After the visit to the high-end hospital, all the teachers and students visited the Huaming Machine Tool Museum and the factory production line of China Car Tangche Group, learned about the development history of machine tools, and inspected the operation and maintenance of industrial production lines on the spot.
The students who participated in this practical activity said that although the visit was only half a day, they had gained a lot and benefited a lot. In addition to having a practical and sensory understanding of the advanced manufacturing industry, they also saw the strict and exquisite management of modern enterprises from the details such as operation mode and team atmosphere. At the same time, the high selection standard of compound talents for enterprises also positions themselves in the direction that needs to be strengthened and worked hard in schools.
