Our Institute of Additive Material Manufacturing Went to Zhuzhou Enterprises and High-tech Zone to Discuss Cooperation
On August 9, 2017, Tsinghua University Tianjin High-end Equipment Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as "High-end Institute") Additive Manufacturing Technology and Engineering Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as "Additive Manufacturing Institute") in Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province and Zhuzhou Tongda Alloy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Tongda Alloy") discussed the cooperation plan between the two parties in the additive manufacturing technology of cemented carbide materials, and jointly visited the Zhuzhou High-tech Zone China Power Valley (referred to as "Power Valley"), the parties discussed the high-end hospital and Zhuzhou City, the hospital-land cooperation needs.
Additive Manufacturing Institute and Tongda Alloy have achieved phased results in the development and application of new technology of carbide electron beam 3D printing. The two sides hope to take this opportunity to deepen cooperation and jointly promote the application of electron beam 3D printing equipment and technology in cemented carbide materials, and have initially drawn up a cooperation plan.
In the China Power Valley of Zhuzhou High-tech Zone, Guo Chao, executive deputy director of the Additive Material Manufacturing Institute, introduced the construction experience and system mechanism of the high-end institute in the collaborative innovation center of the high-end manufacturing industry. After listening to the report, the relevant leaders of the Power Valley expressed their willingness to cooperate with the institute and hoped to visit the high-end institute for in-depth discussions. Subsequently, the two sides discussed the construction of 3D printing joint research and development center, cooperation in the construction of collaborative innovation platform and other possible cooperation path.
Zhuzhou High-tech Zone was established in May 1992. In November of the same year, it was approved by the State Council to become a national high-tech industrial development zone with a total area of 328 square kilometers. Since 2013, Zhuzhou High-tech Zone has entered the third decade of innovation-driven and strategic development. Based on its strong power industry advantages, Zhuzhou High-tech Zone puts forward the strategic idea of building "China Power Valley. In the next ten years, Zhuzhou High-tech Zone will use the most advanced locomotive traction engine, the most powerful aviation power engine and the most environmentally friendly automobile power engine as the core boosters to form three major industries in rail transit, general aviation, and new energy vehicles. 100 billion industrial clusters; in space, build "China Rail Transit", "Central South General Aviation City", "China New Energy Automobile Industry City"; in the region, it has developed into a happy living and working area in Hunan, an innovation-driven demonstration area in central China, and a power industry agglomeration area in China. In 2015, the State Council approved the establishment of Changzhutan (Changsha, Zhuzhou, Xiangtan) National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone. Zhuzhou High-tech Zone will seize the historical opportunity of innovation and entrepreneurship, and strive to build the "China Power Valley" into the future "World Power Valley".
