Biomedicine and Equipment Research Institute Participating in 2019 China Tianjin Investment and Trade Fair and PECC Expo
The 2019 China Tianjin Investment and Trade Fair and PECC Expo (hereinafter referred to as "Tianjin Fair") was held in Meijiang Convention and Exhibition Center from April 18 to 22, 2019. The Institute of Biomedicine and Equipment of Tianjin High-end Equipment Research Institute of Tsinghua University (hereinafter referred to as "High-end Institute") participated in the "Tianjin Science and Technology" section with a series of projects such as extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), brain-strengthening instrument and sleep aid instrument independently developed.
This "Tianjin Fair" is co-sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce, Tianjin Municipal People's Government, All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, and China Federation of Commerce. With the theme of "Comprehensively Implementing the Innovation-Driven Development Strategy and Accelerating the Construction of Modern Tianjin", 3100 international standard booths have been set up focusing on the three major sectors of investment promotion, commodity trading and talent exchange.

During the exhibition, Jin Xiangjun, vice mayor of Tianjin, visited the booth of the Institute of Biomedicine, listened to the professional explanations of scientific researchers, and had in-depth exchanges with relevant responsible persons. I learned in detail about the extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), brain-strengthening instrument and sleep aid instrument that the Institute of Biomedicine has obtained a number of national patents, and encouraged the team to strengthen research and development, innovate continuously and speed up the pace of development.
