Our hospital was awarded the first batch of licenses for the China Science and Technology Association's Science Popularization Base

On March 25, sponsored by the Science Popularization Department of the China Association for Science and Technology and sponsored by the China Electronics Society, the exchange and seminar on the co-construction base of science popularization in China was held in the China Science and Technology Hall. At the meeting, the Science Popularization Department of the China Association for Science and Technology held the awarding ceremony of the first batch of 30 popular science bases in China. Tsinghua University Tianjin High-end Equipment Research (referred to as "High-end Institute") was invited to participate as the first batch of awarding units. Zhang Xiaoqing, vice president of our institute, attended the awarding ceremony on behalf of our institute.

At the exchange meeting, Bai Xi, director of the Science Popularization Department of the China Association for Science and Technology, delivered a speech on the significance of science popularization work, the current status of science popularization work in my country, and the future construction and development of co-construction bases. Popularize scientific knowledge, disseminate scientific ideas and methods, and improve the scientific literacy of the people. Subsequently, representatives of the relevant project support units of Science Popularization China and the six first batch of co-construction base units made exchange speeches and discussed the upcoming "measures for the Management of Co-Construction bases of Science Popularization in China. After the meeting, the leaders and guests went to the Chinese Meteorological Society to visit and investigate.

In order to extensively mobilize social forces to participate in science popularization activities and enrich the high-quality content resources of "Science Popularization China", the China Association for Science and Technology launched the construction of a science popularization China co-construction base in 2018, from more than 360 societies and associations, institutions of higher learning, scientific research institutes, and medical institutions across the country. Among the application units, 30 units were carefully selected as the first batch of science popularization bases in China. As an "advanced manufacturing science popularization demonstration base", the high-end institute will rely on Tianjin's unique advantages as a "national advanced manufacturing research and development base", its own strong scientific research strength, rich scientist resources and industrial resources to create more excellent science popularization works and build a top The team of science communication experts promotes the vigorous development of science popularization activities in the field of advanced manufacturing, and forms a good demonstration and guiding role in the society.
