The Tsinghua University Medical Worker Cooperation and Exchange Seminar hosted by our hospital was successfully held today.

On January 25, the Tsinghua University Medical Worker Cooperation and Exchange Seminar was successfully held in Building 4 of our hospital. The conference was co-sponsored by the School of Mechanical Engineering of Tsinghua University, the School of Clinical Medicine, Beijing Tsinghua Chang Gung Memorial Hospital affiliated to Tsinghua University, Beijing Huaxin Hospital affiliated to Tsinghua University, and Yuquan Hospital affiliated to Tsinghua University. It was hosted by the Tianjin High-end Equipment Research Institute of Tsinghua University (referred to as "High-end Hospital").

This exchange seminar specially invited Academician Dong Jiahong of Tsinghua University School of Clinical Medicine to visit and guide, and invited 70 experts, scholars and attending physicians from Beijing Tsinghua Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Beijing Huaxin Hospital affiliated to Tsinghua University, and Yuquan Hospital affiliated to Tsinghua University to participate in the discussion, aiming to promote the transformation and application of cutting-edge engineering technology in solving medical-related problems, promote the integration and coordination of various innovative elements, and lead the layout and development of the domestic health industry, to contribute to the protection of human health.

Before the seminar, the participants visited the exhibition hall of the high-end hospital. Academician Dong Jiahong and various doctors and experts listened in detail to the introduction of the operation mechanism, platform mode and industrial layout of our hospital. Through the on-site visit, we have a more intuitive feeling and detailed understanding of the scientific research technology, product application services and industrialization process of the 34 R & D teams gathered in our hospital, which paved the way for the follow-up discussion.

The seminar was presided over by Zhang Xiangjun, vice president of our institute. He Yongyong, executive vice president of our college, delivered a welcome speech to the guests. Academician Dong Jiahong delivered a speech for this exchange seminar and wished the meeting a complete success. Subsequently, the relevant technical leaders of more than ten research institutes, including the Institute of Robotics and Automation Equipment Engineering, the Lubrication and Friction Testing Center, and the Institute of Intelligent Medical and Medical Equipment, introduced the technical achievements of the institute, and the representatives of the audience actively spoke, combined with their own medical technology needs to communicate and ask questions, pushing the atmosphere of the meeting to a climax.

In the afternoon meeting, the heads of hospital departments and experts introduced the problems and technical requirements of the medical technology in the department one by one. Then the two sides held a group docking discussion according to the technical matching. Tsinghua and the high-end hospital team exchanged and docked with hospital experts from the aspects of scientific research path and technical solutions, and initially reached a cooperation intention. The meeting was promoted in a full and warm discussion atmosphere.

At the end of the meeting, Academician Dong Jiahong introduced the importance of the combination of "medical workers" under the title of "Building a Paradigm for Precision Hepatobiliary Surgery". He believed that the improvement of clinical technology cannot be separated from the innovation and guidance of science and technology. Only "medical workers" can cooperate to build a "visual, quantifiable and controllable" precision hepatobiliary surgery technical support system and promote the development of precision surgery paradigm into a new era.

Finally, academician Luo Jianbin, president of the high-end college, made a concluding speech. he pointed out that the combination of "medical workers" is also the future development direction of engineering colleges and departments. he hoped that through the follow-up accurate docking and deepening cooperation, more ideas and innovative ideas would be collided, and the combination of "medical workers" in Tsinghua university would make greater contributions to the cause of human health.
