Tsinghua University more than one hundred mechanical students professional basic practice course into the high-end college

On the afternoon of October 27, the School of Mechanical Engineering of Tsinghua University organized students to visit and study at Tsinghua University Tianjin High-end Equipment Research Institute (referred to as "High-end Institute"), Tianjin Machine Tool Museum, and Tianjin CRRC Tangche Rail Vehicle Co., Ltd. 130 students from the freshman "mechanical, aviation and power" major participated in extracurricular practical activities. Relevant persons in charge of lubrication and friction testing center, lubrication technology research institute, surface interface micro-nano technology research institute and hospital affairs department received Tsinghua students and their party.

This extracurricular study activity was initiated by the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Tsinghua University and co-organized by the High-end Institute. It is the practical part of the "Introduction to Mechanical Science and Technology" course. Through the introduction of the preface, achievements and future three exhibition areas of the high-end institute, the construction process, organizational structure, operation mode, platform function, scientific research achievements and industrialization process of 34 research institute teams were connected in series, and the students were elaborated in detail. In the technical achievement display area, Jing Haoda, deputy director of the testing center, Wang Yadan, R & D engineer of the Lubrication Institute, and Ding Chunli, R & D engineer of the Table Interface Institute, gave professional explanations on the team's core technical advantages, R & D product characteristics and market application.

In this activity, in order to let students better understand Tianjin's strong industrial foundation, witness the changes of the times and explore modern industrial production lines, all teachers and students visited Tianjin Machine Tool Museum and the production line of Tianjin Zhongche Tangche Rail Vehicle Co., Ltd., learned and appreciated more than 100 machine tools and more than 500 pieces of civil machinery made in more than ten countries, and inspected the operation and maintenance of industrial production lines, I have a personal experience in the manufacture and production of railway vehicles, EMUs, internal combustion EMUs, suspension trains and accessories.
