On October 13, 2018, the first and second party branches of Mechanical Engineering Department of Tsinghua University and Donghu Bay Community Party Branch of Dongli Street, Dongli District, jointly organized the "40th Anniversary of Reform and opening up" special event into the Tianjin High-end Equipment Research Institute of Tsinghua University (referred to as "High-end Institute"), party members visited and learned about the advanced manufacturing industry, exchanged stories about the achievements of reform and opening up, and achieved good joint interaction results.

The first link of this event is to visit the exhibition hall of the high-end institute. The high-end institute relies on Tsinghua University. The Department of Machinery undertakes the important mission of transforming high-quality scientific research results and leading the development of equipment manufacturing, the achievements of the scientific research team in the hospital in robotics and automation, additive manufacturing 3D printing, special intelligent equipment, friction reduction and consumption reduction projects have also been well received by party members.
