The Advanced Energy Institute of our institute signed two technical service (development) contracts with CNNC Jianzhong

The Advanced Energy Equipment Technology Research Institute of Tianjin High-end Equipment Research Institute of Tsinghua University (referred to as "Advanced Energy Institute of High-end Institute") and China Nuclear Jianzhong Nuclear Fuel Element Co., Ltd. (referred to as "China Nuclear Jianzhong") have achieved results after recent communication and negotiation. Stage results. On August 24, 2018, the two sides formally signed two technical service (development) contracts, including "pilot workshop dynamic simulation system construction" technical service and "lead bismuth fast reactor fuel assembly prototype development" technical development (cooperation). Based on its technical accumulation in digital nuclear power and lead-bismuth fast reactor, Advanced Energy Institute will provide technical services and support for domestic nuclear power leading enterprises. The signing of the two contracts marks the formal substantive cooperation between the two parties in major national strategies such as lead-bismuth fast reactors and digital nuclear power, laying a good foundation for subsequent joint cooperation and related national project declarations.

The project development content signed this contract is the key research field of the Advanced Energy Institute, and has long-term technology accumulation. Among the two contracts, the "pilot workshop dynamic simulation system construction" technical service contract will carry out simulation system construction and intelligent transformation for the nuclear fuel production line in CNNC, so as to improve the information construction level of CNNC, so as to enable visitors to understand the achievements of the company's automation construction in a more concise and effective dynamic simulation way, and can also be provided as learning materials for post personnel and new recruits. The project "Prototype Development of Lead-Bismuth Fast Reactor Fuel Assembly" will focus on one of the key technical problems of lead-bismuth fast reactor fuel assembly, and develop its component prototype.

CNNC is the largest manufacturer of nuclear fuel elements in China, and the advanced energy department of the high-end institute has basically mastered the relevant design in this technical field. The two sides have joined forces to meet the major strategic needs of the country and laid a good foundation for the early layout of the lead-bismuth fast reactor industry in order to carry out scientific research projects at the national level and develop the lead-bismuth fast reactor market.
