Zhang Qing, Director of x-lab Education of Tsinghua University, visited our institute and gave a special lecture.

On the afternoon of August 1, 2018, teacher Zhang Qing, director of x_lab education of Tsinghua university, was invited to visit Tianjin high-end equipment research institute of Tsinghua university (hereinafter referred to as "high-end institute") to bring a wonderful academic lecture to our staff on the topic of "challenges in the commercialization of new technologies and growth opportunities for young people. The lecture was presided over by Zhang Xiangjun, vice president of the high-end institute. Many team leaders, research and development engineers and master's degree students of our institute participated in and listened to the lecture.

First of all, Zhang Qing introduced the basic situation and education mode of x_lab in Tsinghua University, and explained the basis of economic growth by taking how the basic units of society (family and enterprise) interact and promote each other as an example. Then, he took the view of Nobel Prize winner Robert Solow as the main line to explain the basic status quo that most of economic growth stems from technological change. During the lecture, Zhang Qing explained to the participants the difference between low cost, efficient innovation and common invention through examples one by one. At the same time, he also shared and interpreted the industrial economic route from the foundry type to today's independent manufacturing type since China's reform and opening up.

In the lecture, the students concentrate, listen carefully. Combining the difference between the past and future innovation of Chinese companies, Zhang Qing pointed out that future entrepreneurs need more innovation, business power and leadership, and will put higher requirements on young people. He hopes that young people will continue to improve themselves to cope with the future. Many challenges.
