Seminar on Key Projects of Natural Science Foundation Held in High-end Institute
On May 29, 2018, the "ADS New Target Reactor System Integration Research Based on Particle Flow" was held at the Tianjin High-end Equipment Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as the "High-end Institute") Advanced Energy Equipment Technology Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as the "Advanced Energy Institute") of Tsinghua University. The progress seminar of the key project of the Natural Science Foundation was jointly undertaken by the Institute of Modern Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the China Institute of Atomic Energy and Tsinghua University, the Advanced Energy Institute team participated in the design, calculation and experimental work of the project. In this seminar, Zhao Zhixiang, former dean of the Chinese Academy of Atomic Energy, and Zhou Zhiwei, a professor at Tsinghua University, attended the meeting as the responsible experts of the project. In addition, the project chief scientist and professor of the Institute of Modern Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Wang Zhiguang and 3 members of his project team, 6 members of the project team of the Chinese Academy of Atomic Energy, and 4 members of the project team of the Institute of Advanced Energy.
The seminar made a report, presentation and exchange discussion on the mid -2018 progress of the project "Research on Integration of ADS New Target Reactor System Based on Particle Flow. Experts and project team members discussed the development of coupling design software for particle flow target reactor, neutronics calculation, ADS key nuclide integration experiment progress_U, W and other nuclide integration experiment data analysis, tribological performance test of particle flow and related calculation analysis, discussed and solved the problems encountered in the project progress one by one, and finally summarized and arranged based on the final problems of subsequent projects.
Meeting exchange site
After the meeting, the members of the project team visited the exhibition hall of the high-end institute and expressed their appreciation and affirmation of the development speed of the high-end institute. The follow-up advanced energy institute will continue to actively promote the docking and cooperation between the high-end institute, the Institute of modern physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the China Institute of atomic energy.
