The Institute of Embedded System and Internet of Things of Tianjin High-end Equipment Research Institute of Tsinghua University was established on October 15, 2016, dedicated to the research of embedded control and Internet of Things technology. The research institute has more than 20 core backbones, and has strong technical accumulation and rich industrialization experience in the fields of automation and informatization. Researcher Xu Changrong, director of the Institute, was awarded the title of "Person of the Year in China's Automation Field in 2010" and is currently the chairman of PLC Branch of China Mechatronics Technology Application Association.
