Tool & bearing electromagnetic strengthening technology research institute has the "electromagnetic strengthening" process and equipment technology completely independent intellectual property rights. Electromagnetic strengthening is the first treatment technology proposed by Tsinghua University that can greatly improve the wear resistance of alloys and cermets. It has the characteristics of no change in the appearance and size of components, no pollution, and high efficiency. It has undergone many industries and batches of practical tests. And began practical application. At present, there is no similar technology and level at home and abroad.
The core members of the research team are teachers and students of Tsinghua University, including equipment manufacturers and tool & bearing users. It is one of the few teams in China to carry out relevant research and industrialization. Members include basic research group (doctoral students and postdoctoral students in Tsinghua University), equipment group (providing professional mechanical and electrical equipment design and manufacturing), marketing group (tool users and bearing manufacturers), and outsourcing units of tool materials and tool manufacturing around.
The Institute around the improvement of China's tool & bearing basic components to use performance, to carry out three aspects of work:
Provide electromagnetic processing services for key areas of the country (e. g., axes, navigation bearings, etc.);
Provide electromagnetic processing equipment for industries with high demand on the market (such as aluminum extrusion dies, automotive bearings);
It integrates with the existing technology of the high-end institute to provide high-end tool & bearing products (e. g. spherical milling cutters for blade processing, machine tool spindle bearings).
Core technology:
1. Tool field: for superhard ceramics, carbide, high-speed steel turning tools, milling cutters, drills and other general tools, as well as reamers, ultrasonic knives, hob, broach and other special tools, can effectively improve its wear resistance and service life.
2. Bearing field: For high-end bearings in aviation manufacturing, automobile industry and other industries, it can effectively improve its fatigue performance.
Industrial Transfer Process:
Provide electromagnetic processing services for key areas of the country (navigation axis, navigation bearings, etc.);
For the market demand for large industries to provide electromagnetic processing equipment (aluminum extrusion die, automotive bearings);
