Our Institute Held National Science and Technology Week Popular Science Open Day Theme Activities

On May 26 and 28, our college launched the National Science and Technology Activity Week Science Popularization Open Day with the theme of "Manufacturing a Powerful Country and Creating the Future". Some teachers and students from the Automation Department of the School of Electrical Engineering, Tianjin Mechanical and Electrical Vocational and Technical College, More than a hundred spectators including community technology enthusiasts and community residents visited the exhibition hall of the high-end institute.
 

In the exhibition hall full of industrial wind, with the vivid explanation and demonstration of the preaching teacher, a series of major innovations were unveiled in the form of popular science. The audience had close contact with a dazzling array of intelligent robots, metal 3D printing parts, intelligent health wearable devices, nano environmental protection technology products, super energy storage equipment, etc., and personally experienced the industry-university-research collaborative innovation highland jointly built by Tsinghua University and Dongli District of Tianjin. They were amazed by the scientific and technological achievements in the fields of robots and intelligent manufacturing, micro-nano manufacturing and energy conservation and environmental protection, biomedical machinery and general health, and high-end equipment, science and technology self-confidence and national pride arise spontaneously.

Science and Technology Week (Science and Technology Week;Technological activity week ): It is a large-scale mass science and technology activity approved by the Chinese government in 2001. It lasts for the third week of May each year. The Organizing Committee of Science and Technology Week is organized and implemented nationwide by the Ministry of Science and Technology in conjunction with 19 departments and units such as the Central Propaganda Department and the China Association for Science and Technology. In foreign countries, the American Science and Engineering Festival and the Edinburgh Science Festival in the United Kingdom are mostly held by the private sector, which are scientific activities that focus on special topics. The 2021 National Science and Technology Week will be held from May 22 to 28. Dongli District will launch the 35th Science and Technology Week at the same time. The theme of this science and technology week is "A Hundred Years of Looking Back: The Communist Party of China Leading the Development of Science and Technology", and the sub-theme It is "Science Popularization of Digital Society in the Intelligent Era", focusing on three series of activities: "People to the Party", "," Intelligent Era "and Digital Society.
