Research Center for Low Nitrogen Combustion of Synthetic Gas

Brief Introduction of Research Laboratory:The research lab was established in November 2018. The research lab was jointly established by Tianjian Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. of Tianjin Zhongke and Tianjin Research Institute of High-end Equipment of Tsinghua University. The research lab focuses on the research of low-nitrogen combustion technology of syngas and the industrialization of low-nitrogen combustion equipment. There are 11 scientific researchers in the research lab, 1 researcher and 1 senior engineer. Three people, four doctors and three masters, are currently engaged in the research and development of low nitrogen combustion equipment for natural gas, and a full range of low nitrogen products for natural gas are expected to be completed in 2019.

 

Core technology:The core members of the R&D team have been engaged in the research and development of aeroengine and gas turbine combustors for a long time. They have unique technical advantages in the field of low nitrogen fuel combustion

 

Metal Surface Combustion Technology: Utilizing the structure characteristics of burner and boiler, part of fuel burns directly on the metal surface, on the one hand, it strengthens heat transfer, at the same time, it reduces the flame temperature and reduces the level of NOx emission.

 

Lean premix-fine staged combustion technology: through the special structure of burner, the flame can be divided into lean oxygen center flame and lean fuel edge flame, which can reduce the intensity of combustion and the level of NOx emission.

 

Flue gas recirculation technology: By injecting part of the flue gas mixed with air or fuel, the intensity of combustion in the flame center is reduced, and the level of NOx emission is reduced.

Industrialization process:The research and development of low nitrogen combustion technology for natural gas has basically been completed, and the forensic work of mainstream burners is under way. At present, the forensic work of 1, 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 tons of burners has been achieved, and small tonnage burners have been fully introduced to the market.
