Research Center for Biomedical Equipment of Tianjin Institute for Advanced Equipments, Tsinghua University was formally established on April 19, 2016. Under policy support in Tianjin and Tianjin Institute for Advanced Equipments, Tsinghua University, the center, relying on the abundant scientific research strength and the advanced technology of the school of Medicine and Pharmaceutical Sciences of Tsinghua University, mainly focuses on four research directions, including medical equipment, biomedical, biochemical products and healthy food.
Currently, there are 20 members in the center. The team led by Prof. Zhao Wang has been engaged in research of life science, bio-medicine, clinical medicine, medical equipment, food security and the hydromechanics and machine design which associated with biological.Dr. Wang has published over 100 research articles and several patents.
